I'm germinating in soil how wet should I keep the soil? How do i resaturate the soil without drowning the seeds? Sorry these are probably very elementary questions but this is my first ever grow

if someone doesn't know, just ask :)
the soil should be moist, not soaked, so just water the soil once and wait; a spray bottle can help keep the soil moist.
when the seed germinates, it starts to absorb the water it needs through the humidity in the air; it takes about a week to start absorbing through the roots. to speed things up, you can use mycorrhizae.
pay attention to the temperature; 24° Celsius is perfect, if it drops, it struggles a bit.
and the humidity in the box should be at least 65% or more...

Many of my attempts don't make it past seedling.What could be the problem? Done 3 grows now. Each time germinated several seeds. I can almost always get a tap root but when I plant, many never sprout and those that do sprout, half remain small and never grow past 2 little leaves. I'm always growing autos.

Methods to avoid stunted seedlingsDoes anyone have any favored methods to avoid stunted seedlings? It hasn't happened to all of my seedlings, but at least three crops have had this issue. I already use Coast of Maine seed starter, usually in small solo cups, before switching to the main soil.

I left them in a cup of water 24hrs, all off them sinks.
I transfer the seeds to jiff pellets....it’s been 12 days and nothing sprouting :(
Should I wait a little more?

Seed floating in the water good or bad quality ?I use to germinate with 16/20h in a water and then straight in the soil. Everyone know seed which float on the water should be not a GOOD QUALITY seed but this basically it’s happening with all the seed bank and the result is 90%always positive. Any infos ??

Abnormal Seedling?First time grower, does this seedling look ok? First true leaves looking short and slightly curled. Seed popped last Thursday 1/14. Using buildasoil v 3.0 and watering two shot glasses worth of water ph 6.5. Just want to make sure I shouldn’t be doing something else.

B-52 in the first weekHi there,
I'm on my 1 week after germination and was wondering if the B-52 in small doses will help the girls with roots and stamp or is it too dangerous since they are very fragile with nutrients at this stage?

Why did my seedlings all die?My seedlings all died. This is the second time. What am I doing wrong? They germinate, I plant them in Promix HP soil, they pop up in a few days. I move them to the tent. Most of them never even lose their seed caps before they die, but a couple get real leaves first.

Ethos Freebies wouldn't germinateGorilla Glue S1 Ethos. Extra Freebies seed. I dunk 2 in water. They open root out. Put it in pellet pre soak didn't work. I tried 2 more with ethos preferable method. Still no sign. Any suggestion. Different method? I still got 6 left.
