Hello dear growers, actually I have a question, as you can see my plant has grown well, I have watched a lot of diaries and I see that most of the best results are obtained by applying some advanced techniques, for this reason, do you recommend me to do a LST to my plant ?

hey there, with autos and LST you absolutely have to start earlier because the autos genetics "get stiff" quite early on, so they simply wont bend that well. when you do bend them they wont really adapt correctly meaning the branches will grow sometimes "upsidedown" in a bad way, or some branches will be stunted and not grow well. So if you want yield, sorry to say but in flower there's not much you can do now except add PK when the buds are the size of your thumbs. so i do recommend LST with autos but not for this plant at this time. next time you grow these gens, go for it. if you try it now, you'll see what i'm talking about. Yes I would recommend to do little LST.
Normally I give LST in the veg.
It’s no problem to do it in the flowering period. Only be carful with to much stress.

I know they are at least on the early side of harvest ready if not a little bit before ready, but the top of the colas definitely have a good bit of amber trichomes and I was dealing with a heat issue effecting the top buds so I cut a few to test.

Once again I must ask, is it ready for harvest?Pistols are anywhere from 60-80% orange depending on the cola, and the trichomes are mixed, I see some clear, I see milky and I see amber.We're mid week 8 of flower as well. If it's close enough should I ice the pot and start my 2 days of darkness now?

In the dark before harvest?Is it imperative to put them in the dark before harvesting? I've built myself a dry box that will keep them dark, cool, and the air circulating. I still have plants growing so I can't off the lights and I don't have anywhere else to set them.

Why did the smell almost disappear?buds are drying and have been hanging for about 4 days. They still have awhile to go. But I noticed they have a hay/chlorophyll type smell and the bud smell is pretty much gone... will it come back during the curing or did I fuck up some how?
