If the choice is a dark room at 70% humidity, or in an active 12:12 tent at 60% humidity, which would you pick? Can’t control the room humidity.

Don’t put it an active tent. Light is your enemy after harvest. I’d put it in 70% rh in the dark, and make sure it has smooth air circulation around the harvest, not directly on it. It should be fine, keep a close eye it.

Light and or heat degrade trichomes, can't dry in a ligtt environment the latent energy will rapid dry and leave you with piss flavored weed smells like hay and makes you cough. Still better than nothing tho!.

both of those options will yield poor results especially the active tent. you may e able to get away with drying at 70 percent but its goanna take like over 2 weeks and high chance of mold. even if you can get that humidity down a little. raising your temps a little will burn off some of the humidity in the air.

They are both really important. Lights are not gonna make your buds mold like too much humidity though, but too much light you gonna wish it did anyway lol A little bit of light is not gonna cause much harm at all. but constant direct light is gonna ;ight bleach the buds and turn them brown quick along with degrading the cannabinoids
