Germinating Seeds

What is your germination process? I skip the whole paper towel and put the seed in water until I see root then it goes into a rapid rooter plug. I’m successful almost 100% of the time.

I just plant directly from the package right into their final home. I also usually have 100% success rate. No soaking I just make sure the seed gets planted with the pointy end up. Thats the most important factor. The root pops from the pointy end, starts coming out of the pod and then does a u-turn and heads down into the planter. The head of the plant then starts heading for the surface and the seed shell gets removed by the dirt catching the open shell. If put in wrong then the entire plants has to twist and turn, before heading to the surface and will usually pop up with the seed shell stuck on the plants head.. if they pop up at all...

If you get 100% germination with this method, why the question? Congratulations, I guess... I do things a little differently but I also get 100% germination unless it's a dud seed - which DOES happen once in a while... you'll come up against one, too.... guaranteed. Good luck...
