DIY greenhouses

I made 2 DIY greenhouses with plastic bags. Does anyone know if these are beneficial for this kind of plant? Normally the air is about 22 degrees here and humidity around 65%, in these it is much higher. Does any one have experience using things like this?

its fine for young plants rooting but to much humidity will lead to other issues down the road, cannabis is not a tropical plant that requires that much RH. Issues can be bud rot, mold/fungas on leaves and in soil, that leads to PH swings. With the moisture beading up and falling down onto the plants the sun will then burn the leaves as it acts like a mini manganfying glass outdoors. once they are well rooted cut open some holes then transistion the plants away from the bag fully. fresh air is great for a growing plant. Good Luck!

Hello Bryde, No this is not beneficial at all. You want the leaves to vaporize the moist in the air so that the roots can suck up new moist. Now you just prevent the moist from the leaves to vaporize in the air and for that reason the roots are not able to suck up new moist. Remove the bag and let them enjoy the sun, wind and the dry air. Enjoy your grow!

Now, this is where you're gonna have issues as it grows stiff intense light. I'd put pipe in so their can be co2 exchange. Idk how long u plan to run it like this. But once its properly rooted and in veg which it is. It'll start using co2. And you'll notice she'll start to choke from lack of co2 and growth will be slow. A simple tear even just for an exchange. As I see it all misted. So there's no exchange atm Good Growing mate

25c is a better target but they wil typically handle up to 30C. there is variation in robustness to these factors. if the RH is also skyrocketing, these may not be best for a more mature plant, as teh VPD would be quite low wit ha sky-high RH, but you'd still want to reference a VPD chart with a range of temps and RH's you'll see. there are different recommendations on this so i'll jsut give a broad range of 1,0 to1,5 is probably where you want it for mature vege/bloom time frames. below 1 for seedlings. VPD is not discreet. more than one combination can result in the same VPD so common sense is required a bit on viable temperature ranges. These would be great early in the year when you have frost advisory, i bet.
