You're doing absolutely nothing wrong. This is the way RH works in sealed tents mate. Light + heat gives high temps (lower RH) No light, lower temps than their is in lighting. (Higher RH) its all got to do with heat + light buddy. Photosynthesis. Its very complicated Tbh, best bit of advice Worry about your RH when the plant is in Photosynthesis mode. When she's not in it, the RH plays no part in plant development, nor has any impact (unless its super high and you have very low ven or poor air flow from lack of Os fans) I'll repeat. You're wasting money trying to fix RH when in reality to lower it. You'll have to have the heat warmer than you do with your lights on so( lights on 23c ) lights off 25+ and even then. It DOES not matter. As RH plays no role in a plant that's sleeping. Pfr-pr or something. I've been through this. You really need to understand how plants work to understand how RH plays a part in an actively working stomatas (these are the pores that are like car vents, turbos in a sense. You need high air flow over the leaves to change molecular surroundings (that's a whole other plant physiology term) So, RH. Does not matter. Any anyone who says they have Lower RH in dark time than they do with higher heat + light well. They're should try walking on water.

Yes, cause their stomata aren't working taking in co2. Again high ventilation and you'll be fine. Good luck

Plants* eject water at night. Lots of it.

Hello pal, during the day the plants absorb moisture from air and soil, once temps go above 84 water uptake increases dramatically as plant uses water to keep cool. At night photosynthesis stops and cellular respiration kicks in the tent will start to eject masses of water into the air. Exhaust fan at highest point of tent (carbon filter will mostly block eh) set it to come on once rh goes over 45 at any point and don't stop till it's under 45. The rh of the air being replaced by exhausted air? If you are growing in basement you need to dehumidify outside the tent and keep the fresh air going in under control. Risky to use outside air as the RH varies alot day in day out.

1st pic shows high spikes in dark I was getting. 3rd pic shows I was able to get it pretty stable after changing exhaust/intake from temp controller to humidity controller 2nd pic shows high spike during dark cycle today after adding the ac last night at 9pm Light cycle is 6:45pm to 6:45am
