To me it looked like a secondary flower site at the node joint. I have grown quite a few plants and I can't recall ever seeing that happen. Doesn't look like male parts.

Does not look right to me, maybe its a pollen sack but they tend to be pod shaped and hang off of a mini branch. Try and get some close ups of it. use a macro lens if you have one or a magnifying glass. Pollen sacks will contain nanners inside they will be yellow if mature and be laced with pollen. Google some images of cannabis pollen sacks or male flower to familiarize your self with them. It looks a bit like a new leaf but also a bit like a pollen sack. Good Luck!
