My 4 steps defoliation: * 2 or 3 days before turning into flowering: lollipoping and defoliation from main stem(s). * ~3 weeks after, when the flowers have started to develop properly: lollipoping and defoliation from secondary stems. * let the plant recover, then continuous defoliation until harvest: just a few each day, to keep buds compact and help the light reaching lower flowers, but remove only leaves you can clearly see the stalk. * the day before harvest: keep only sugar leaves, remove all the others. This point depends of how you like to dry your flowers: doing it saves me time at harvest, so I can freeze the flowers as quickly as possible (for fresh frozen bubble hash). But for now, you should stop defoliation (you have to let the Lady breathe). ^^

First: you're welcome. ^^ About Ruderalis crosses, I grow them in the same way that any other cannabis plant, the only change being in photoperiods. And about using trellis, I only use it in very compact project (like computer case grow space) to do LST in Veg. In other cases, because of the continuous defoliation, I don't feel the need to do a lot of training on my plants, only toping, FIM or pinching, for height control and depending of the strain.

Since the plant is already showing flower sites I wouldn't recommend it, they say not to do any defoliation once they reach the flowering stage.
