Hello folks First Grow My LED 190 Watt is currently 35cm away from the tallest plant. Heat is no problem 23C on the top plant Is it ok to leave the LED so close or should it be further away? I read conflicting opinions on the net. Flower = less light vs Flower=max light

Math dont lie, but i sometimes forced to have plants physically brushing leds with tops and still finishing well. Depends on many factors, but 35 cm from top is very healthy distance for most leds. I tested not one or two for one company, have my own, never had huge disappointment even with 5cm distance in late flower. 35 would be dream for me. Heat ussually biggest problem, if you are really in 23, you are blessed, nothing to worry with 200W. First photo of week ;) growdiaries.com/diaries/177197-grow-journal-by-asnoriu/week/1021191 And i had heat issues, half of my diaries are with small distance ... Dont say its best, but i smoke buds, penetration has limits, humidity and temp are more important with nax blast, but if you run out of space : everything is possible...

They will be fine. Most light manufacturers recommend 12-14 inches away during flowering.

No idea which LED light you got, but i think the best is to follow the manual from the manufactor. Mostly ever time they tell how how far away with how much power it should be, like for seedling, veg or flower phase. You can still try to go a little bit closer then, since often those numbers are "safe to use", if you notice some lightburn or anything then, you can still hang it a little bit higher again. at least that is what i try to do.

Honestly should be at least 45 cm away or 18 inches

Honestly, to a point you won't notice, light is radiation, all radiation accelerates decay, not so much you will notice, so long as heat is dealt with. Not something to worry about on 1st grow, your plants looks healthy and happy.

Regardless if it is 18 hours or 12 hours the most a plant can handle is 40,000,000 moles on any given daylight cycle. Ppfd is measured in seconds. 18 hours is 64,800 seconds 12 hours is 43,200 seconds 200 w light at 30 cm is roughly 1500umol/s in centre and 3-4-500umol/s on the sides. 12 hours of flower. 4320 x 1500 = 64,800,000 moles Your over dosing by 24million moles or there about. At given height. Ballpark

15" away is kind of the standard. I've had my light at full intensity and it was 11 inches from the canopy and i didn't experience light stress. I think different strains react differently. I grew Dark Star and the plants got about 8 inches from the light and they showed some bleaching at that distance. My advice is to experiment carefully. Try 12 inches and see if they can tolerate it. If you don't want to mess with things then 15" at full intensity will do.
