I've used various things for storage. Mylar bags work good (opaque or black is best), but the grove bags are the way to go imo. Just DO NOT get 1 or 2 ounce bags. Get the bigger ones TRUST me. I have over used by grove bag and the top clear plastic seal comes off so I have to fold and clamp them down to keep the bag functional as it should be. The dry and cure is most important. You can throw a cheap hygrometer or two in the bags. If they stay within 58-64 RH you will be fine. Leave them in cool and dry/dark place. Some of my best flower I've smoked has cured at least 90+ days

Used them to cure 2x, works very well without the need to burp, but MUST BE correctly dried, I could easily see people putting still wet bud in these bags and it just whiffing of piss and blaming the bag. I was skeptical, Results speak for themselves.

Once you have bowls , jars all you need to do is add boveda packs. And that's it. Home made jars & what's in my house i use you don't need to buy everything. Or what's the point of growing. Yes?, if its an investment..I suggest getting some big ass Pyrex dishes. They keep a great seal Coffee tins/jars. Boveda packs are cheap.

The Grove Bags are supposed to be able to control humidity levels a little, I guessed they're semipermiable to allow vapor transfer. I haven't used them personally but they basically look like the same stuff prepackaged dispensary weed comes in. I imagine they work ok as long as you're not putting wet buds in. I use Mason jars personally but not having to burb would be nice.
