Buds are in the jars. In the jars, temp is 22 celsius and moisture about 52% I plan to make butter mostly Do I need to purb them daily? For how long do I keep lit open? How long do I need to keep purbing these jars? Are these jars their place to stay until grinding and using.

Curing is the most important part. Its a science blended with art. You can definitely leave in the bottle until use guard against air flow and light. Your bottle should be blue or brown glass outside of that leave in dark. When you first bottle yes burp it often like every couple or few days for longer. Like 30 min to hour every few days. Take note of the feel and smell of your flowers. As time goes by go to once a week for 10 min then longer in between burps for shorter burps. Guage off your smeel and flower feel. You will notice the smell bloom over time. You will know when its ready can take up to 3 months. Some being ready in half that time. I personally start smoking after a month but end noticing a big difference after 3. If you search on grow diaries there is a great article on just this process. Be patient you will enjoy the results. Good luck bud

You burp daily until humidity stabilizes in the jars and then you can go longer in-between. As others said, not as important for butter fodder. You can even use straight up fresh weed for extracts, that's how live rosin is made. In butter you'll get more water and chlorophyll though using fresh. Lately I've just been converting my edible quality trim/buds into hash, takes up less space and the end product doesn't taste as "planty".

If you’re going to make butter, do you need to cure? Decarboxoate and you’re good to go. Also your thc and crystals should be at peak at harvest so capitalise on that. I thought curing was for flavour profiles and stoned effects (eg as thc breaks down it effects the ‘stone’). Can you taste the cure in butter?

I burp my jars once a day for a week when I first jar them, then maybe 2 times a week after for 2 weeks and I don't open them again unless I'm using it. Infuses the pot into butter using a low and slow method. Crock ports work great or double broilers. I;ve also read about instantpot butter in mason jars in a water bath, So lots of options some are more smell free.

if sealed up, yes you need to burp. Especially if still gassing off moisture. If it's not fully dry at equilibrium with temps/rh, then they'll be overly moist and grow mold. If they have fully dried, a sealed environment will eventually cause anaerobic bacteria growth, which will turn the weed brown and make it smell not so good.. some people actually prefer this, but i have no idea why, lol. So even after dried, 1/week burping is a good idea. 'curig' for weed isn't really the same as curing tobacco. Just dry it slowly and avoid anaerobic bacterial growth and all is well. if you are going to make butter it won't matter much. it's an 'extraction.' When you warm it up, the volatiles terps you might have preserved are going to boil off. Only oily substances with a BP 212F will be absorbed by the butter. i open my buckets and wave the lid across the top a couple times, then twist the lid back on.. simple as that. Once in curing stage, fill up the containers more fully. you want less air inside at that point. ~75% full if still gassing off moisture is a good idea. light an o2 and heat are you enemy, but lack of o2 will cause anaerobic growth. Unless you replace the air inside container with nitrogen or vacuum seal, gotta live with burping and adding a little o2 back in. I use smoke jar sizes that make me re-fill every week or so. That's i how remember to burp, lol. If you don't want brown weed, you do it until it is gone. If you are going to smoke it all up in 3-6 months, won't matter much. Get some 2-way humidipaks and call it a day (boveda, not the other brand)
