My grow is going a little sideways

My plant is in veg stage and ever since germination the true leafs are twisting to one side heavily? More skew as the leaf itself isnt rotating just going sideway. Should i raise my lights more? growdiaries.com/diaries/189959-unkown-grow-journal-by-sskwhiteshadow

Hey so actually you have a pretty good nutriensolution. You put it in ml/Gallon but convertet it to in mg/L. You have 105,7mg/L N, 42,28 mg/L P and 116mg/L K wich is below the recommended 195mg/L N, 30-90mg/L P and 170-200 mg/L K (you can google diferrent studies that show this is optimal) So i would say it must be something genetic or maybe the salts weren‘t sucked up by the plant and build up in the media over time, wich happens. Either way i would suggest to stop the feeding and dimm the light a little.

looks like a root zone issue and possiblygiving too much light, if those nodes are all stacked directly on top of each other -- difficult to see this early on in a photo, though. i see cotys, first serated and then a third set of leaves and they all look like there's zero internode lenght i pictures. The twisting is more likely root zone related, but coudl be genetics too. quantum boards? probably want18-20" of distance. If on 18/6 cycle for vege, maybe 66-75% power depending on if the lights are well-matched to area of coverage. that way when you go from 18h to 12h it is simply bumping power from 66% to 100% to match the fewer hours and give same energy as before (read up on DLI, daily light integral, to get a gist)... you'll want to target 35-40 DLI -- this is the same regardless of hours of use or size of garden.. which is why it's a concept you should understand so that you can make these decisions on your own with the variables at hand... too many variances between 1 garden and the next to give a specific answer in regard to 'how much light?"

a note about simplegrows nubmers -- the "195" N is for sources of N that require microbes and such to make it plant available. Wtih more readily available N sources, you only need 110-130 PPM N (as calculated from labels and not some TDS pen reading whimsically converting from EC with 1 of 5 different conversion factors that all give different products, lol)

Hello @sskwhiteshadow don't worry, sometimes the plant starting out the worst turns out the best. Just give her some time. I had sth similar in my latest grow, the plant ended up being the biggest producer ;) Check it out, plant was a Sweet ZZ Aut from RQS happy growing and good luck!!

Hi buddy not knowing the strain here so ill be guessing. if this is an auto you have done a good thing by planmting it in a large container if its a photoperios then like auto said probably would of been better of going small and transplanting though thats not your biggest issue here erm it looks to me lkike some kind of mutation. ive never had a seedling grow like that before. if the light it too low this can happen im sure but i would just feed with water and hope for the best. some of my worst seedlings havee turned out to be great plants before. so keep up the great work :) best of luck buddy

You shouldn't have planted your seed in a big pot like that. It's better to start small and more up incrementally in pot size. It's better to do that because when you water a huge pot with no roots to take that water up, it will lay in the soil forever displacing oxygen. If there's one thing i would suggest it's to raise your humidity. Like double it.

Hello, I‘m sure she will be fine but normaly smal plants need basicaly no food because they still in seedling stage. The Veg Phase, where they can take high ad salty nutriensolutions is when they developed enough roots and leaves. I would suggest to stop the feeding until the plant has established itself. Do you mind if I ask how much you feed the plant in mg/L? I asume it‘s a bit high even for an older plant unfortunately. If you want I can calculate it for you. Right now I would only water every few day and put the humidity high so the plant gets water from the air. Also i would put the light a litle down because the transpiration sucks the solution through the leaves. Maybe thats where the doformation comes from.
