Hi . I think I’m missing something here.can’t get my humidity over 44/45 in a 2x2x2.2 tent-600w ..5” rv extraction fan-plenty of fans moving the air. Damp towels x bowl of water. Seedling stage. Tried it with extraction off which did take humidity up to 50. Temp to high @ 32.7 !

Hello I live in the desert and my humidity rarely goes over 20%. If you're having issues keeping it up you may want to run the extraction fan less. For me, that lowers my rh tremendously. Keep the small fans and only run the exhaust when necessary. You can put cups over small seedlings and put a couple holes for air and mist inside the cups while still small. But 40-50% isn't too terrible. If it was 20-30% that would be a little more worrisome. Happy growing. ✌️

Hey, when plants are in early Veg and don’t have much foliage raising your RH can be a challenge. I would take out all but one fan circulating your air. If you have that small of a tent one is already more than enough IMO. With a 5” extraction fan in a tent that small it’ll be sucking in enough fresh air from around your tent you probably have more air flow than you realize with that negative pressure as is. The damp towels may help but I’d avoid that though as they can begin to develop or produce Mold. An alternative would be to use a small diffuser without any oils. In a space that small running it will add more moisture to the air for sure. It helped in my grow tent twice your size. Taking your extraction off isn’t a bad idea either but I always keep mine on simply for air quality and for the sake of maintaining the negative pressure in the tent. TLDR; seems like you have to much air circulation in a small space. Reduce it. It’ll help the RH. Also a small diffuser should be able to help add the amount of moisture you need in a small space.

turn exhaust down, if not already low. if no power control, that's not an option obviously. humidifier in the room the tent resides... best you can do.

a humidity of 44/45 is perfectly fine if the temp is low. There is a relationship between humidity and temperature.. Also moisture available in the root zone.. You honestly might be okay depending on strain of course.. http://www.just4growers.com/media/23631/vpd_2degree.gif

Sounds like u need a humidifier to get ur rh elevated. U can try misting the walls of ur tent every few hours to keep that rh up if u donr want to spend cash on humidifier. But that's gunna make u put in mad work 💪 I'd get s humidifier. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
