m0useanswered grow question 7 months ago that's a very open question and your going to get some shit advice as everyone has their own way of growing.
I suggest you look into things a bit more and make a decision on how you want to do things and then make a plan. Make notes and see what you think would work best for you.
I myself like to grow in a soil mix. its composted of a bunch of things and its fertilized with dry amendments that get broken down in the medium.
I don't get runoff with it and I don't feed it via EC or PPM concentrations, its what feels normal for me and whats easy. to me,, Some others disagree and find soil is more of a wild card they don't want to take a chance on, they prefer the control of feeding everything to it with multiple bottles/bags and monitoring and adjusting the EC and PH. If it works for them, power to em. I don't do so well with that type of setup but I can learn if I choose. So you need to make a choice and pick something and give it a honest shot,
If its not for you pick a new route next grow. It is said bigger yields can happen from Hydro style grows, but Its also been said soil grows have better taste. So pick you path. Start with this: do you want a grow with a substrate or not, if yes soil or soilless or a mix, if no, then pick whatever hydroponic setup suits your needs, RDWC, DWC exct.
Good Luck!
