How to manage grow light height with plants of different sizes?

My grow light is suspended (offset from plants) about 10” from the canapy of my two LST’ed plants but only about 6” from my control plant (no LST). Everyone seems happy, and I am not noticing any burns or lack of growth (unless too close can stunt?). Should I rethink the setup?

I agree with the previous comment. You really don’t want to let one go and lst the others, you will have problems with it later on in flowering. The one you let go could go 2-3 times higher then your lst canopy will be. The other option if you really wanna keep your Control plant is to buy another led light and move your lst plants to one sine of the tent together under one light and use the second light over your control plant.

Thanks so much growmies! I think I will try raising the LST’ed planters to be level with the control plant’s canopy. If that doesn’t work, I’ll try the dual light option — I have multiple lights to assist during flowering.

Well if you leave one just growing she could outgrow the others so fast that your setup could become a bit tricky ... also autos dont respond well to supercropping and such.
I would just tie her down as the others i guess...

when to switch from 4k veg light to 3kI have 7 3 week old plants under 165 watt of 4k quantum boards. They seem to be stack tight. my question should I switch them up now to 3k 240w light to get a bit more height... or what I think I should do, be patient veg them 4 full week under 4k then veg a week or 2 under 3k.Setup.
