I've put the seed into full coco, prewatered. It was planted on 28/02,sprouted 3 days later, stopped growing since. I don't think it'll survive but even if it does,it will be a weak one I think.I have one more seed, thinking about replacing with it.Light and darkness both didnt work

If it was a strong seed it would have forced itself out of the shell by now. You can gently peel the shell off, but most likely will have to baby the plant for a while to get it going. I would go ahead and get another one germinating. If I plant it a little deeper and pack the grow medium down on top they seem to shed the shell much better for me. Good luck if you decide to keep her.

If it's been four days and it's still like this... Your Cotyledons are dead. You have to take the casing off the seed VERY GENTLY, like super gentle. If you look at my diary I had something very similar happen to me and it got horribly stunted by the whole thing. It can turn around and survive but those first several days are soo crucial to how much vigor and health it has. If you want healthy and strong, Your better to start a fresh one and hope for better results.

Get that shell off post-haste You can spray with a weak mineral water solution that may lossen it enough for you to pull off. Cant leave it man, will kill the sprout

@HighRoler909 Hi mate Long story short Too dry Humidity needed and that shell will need to come off if it doesn't shed it naturally . otherwise the cotyledons will come out pale looking and weak.

yes it is the shell but the most crucial part of the plant is still in it.I dont think I'll try to remove it myself, too risky for me.but yeah I added a humidity dome, lets see if this makes difference, otherwise I'm gonna try the other seed

Give the seedling an open dome ( half of a plasicbottle with wholes) and spray her … and then we have to wait. but if she survivies, i see a bright future for her. Iam having sometimes very slow or sometimes weak starter. but if they greow it out.. they mostly turn out nice and strong plants. If you have Aloe give her Fresh Juice of Aloe. spray her often and let the domes onto the seed

@highroller909 is that the seed shell on top? I've had success CAREFULLY taking them off, it felt like a surgical procedure.

Strictly based on the pictures, the substrate looks really dry. I would let them grow in a humidity dome/ rock wool combo until it got its first set of leaves before transplanting it into something that large.
