LST Defo = This?

TheGourmetWeed
TheGourmetWeedstarted grow question 4 years ago
It's my first time doing LST and defoliation. And even after many years growing outdoors and reading so much, still would like to hear second opinions to make sure I'm doing it 'right'. She's fed right after training and defoliation to help recover. Opinions? Thanks

Looks like your doing good.. I wouldn't defoliate really anything yet.. do it right before you switch to flower and maybe a little bit daily up until the third week of flower.. then once right before harvest.. Other than that.. good stretch on her with the lst.. and feeding after any stress usually helps them bounce back that much faster as long as your not overdoing it! Looks great man! Gonna be a beautiful flower!

You're doing lst correctly, well done. What I notice is that your plant looks heavily fed. Go easy on the nutes and make sure you're watering plain water every 2 or 3 feeds! 🌱👍

Looks ok to me? That said I'm new myself and LST is not my strong point. Really not! I actually answered to say most girls and certainly all my plant that I've grown so far are tough as nails and will take much of a beating. Including dry soil and Snapping the main stem whilst she's in flower (check my White widow diary) for one snapped stem now one big fat knuckle pumping power to her bud sites. she didn't even slow when I broke it. good luck

Just had a similar thing happen. I think i cropped it too hard too soon and watered it a bit too hard in too big of a pot. growdiaries.com/diaries/59974-sour-diesel-grow-journal-by-haulinoats

Looks great. Everything is exposed, and looks like canopy is complete with no gaps of wasted light. Can't beat that. Assume it's level? :) Maybe the ones with less vascular tissue you allow to be taller for a few days.. it's fun shaping plants. they are so predictable. are there 2 stretching wide underneath? maybe have those fill center? all depends on your plans, it's liek trying to tell bob ross (that's the painer guy right?) where to put a lovely little tree. yeah... right there... isn't that great? :)
