3rd grow started yesterday 1x LSD 1x Runtz Muffin Question. I use BioBizz Light Mix and would like to enhance it with worm castings, how much should I mix in? I would have thought that the light mix would be around the young plant and LM + worm casts a lite bitt further around

20 percent sounds right. its hard to overdue worm castings. They are not exactly cheap, So I tend to use them conservativly. You could add a cup or two per plant and they will enjoy it. Just don't want to make your soil too dense and not able to drain. One had a bag or castings rip open so I just put it all in twoof my plants pots like a pound or two of castings each and they next day they were looking beautiful

I would not use more then 10% , they can gunk up the medium and turn it to muck. Also can top dress with them or making a compost tea out of them. Good Luck!

Ive been using homemade soil that consists of roughly 1/3 worm castings (in volume) with very good results. The plants love it!

I use it always and it will help you also retain water. I use 1/3 of the soil mix volume of castings on final pot and re amend a little when flipping to flower as a top dress.

Up to about 20% is perfect. Never have soil in "layers", always mix everything together and have a homogenous substrate.

15%-20% is mostly advised. Mixing it into the outer soil might work, much success, and Happy Growing
