Hi Pal, if you imagine you have two plants, one is located in the sunlight, the other plant is located in the shadows. Our Damsels need a certain Level of light, intensity, correct light spectrum etc. The 30W light does not have enough Power to get a nice harvest. Of course it will grow, but quality will be poor. Hope this helps a bit. If you have further questions, throw me a PM. Cheerz, OimRausch

LED pulls less power than it puts out. For example: I use a 1000w LED that technically pulls ~165 watts. I have two of those lights in a 2x4 tent. You can grow with smaller watts but the light determines everything about your plant. Most smaller LED lights don’t have IR and/or they’re lacking other spectrums of light. Light is essential for photosynthesis(i.e. plant growth) and especially important for the end product of the grow: bud development. The more power from the lights to absorb the more the plant will give. Look into PAR(photosynthetically active radiation), good lights will have par values within range for the plant you are growing based on height from the plant. I have some cheap 30 watt led lamps I use for seedlings only their true pull of I remember is only like 12 watts. The seedlings stay under the low watt lights for 10 days then I put them under my 1000watt. Younger plants do not need as strong of lighting nor do they need a higher PAR value. Sunraise LED lights are what I’ve been using, they come with a 3 year warranty and they don’t break the bank on a first grow light. Plants grow very well under it. Mars hydro and spider farmer are others I’ve seen recommended recently.
