Do I still have time to do a topping?

given my limited space in height and the little development of the lateral branches, should I have done a topping? do I still have time? would I lose production at this point in flowering?

If it is an autoflowering strain, this will slow down the flowering. You'll have to wait another 1 week if not more, and basically topping is not the best training for them, but LST is fine if it's an autoflower

Autoflower I guess... First: At this stage the stretch should be nearly over. So space should be fine Second: But (there is always one): I have seen some genetic fun lately: growdiaries.com/grow-questions/80015-does-this-autoflower-look-like-it-needs-a-1212-light-cycle-to-properly-flip-to-flower- Third: Topping is never a good idea for Autoflower (only for strong/long ones or on Hydro/aero).

If I were you I would just keep tying her down and spreading her out,. And if you're comfortable super crop her in a few places and let hit Bush right out Keep her Growing!!

at this point topping won't redistribute growth... there's a chance an effect labeled as 'backbuilding' coudl occur, but in my experience it's not a very consistent effect. I've seen it where a bunch of extra development was caused below the cut on 1 plant, but then i've also seen no distribution on most others -- not from purposefully topping but when i've accidentally snapped off the top while HST'ing or whatever. The one that had an obvious effect grew much larger buds are the lower sites than it would have by comparing to other similar branches - vascular tissue + height (apical dominance). But, like i said, i've seen it happen one time. I don't think 'backbuilding', thought only a handful of opportunities over the years, is something you can depend on.

Do not top autos, only LST, Yes topping it right now will result is a net negative overall. Try growing them in a different way if you want them to be bigger, autos can get shocked into early flower from many things.

Don't top in flower. Topping should be done at the latest a week or 2 before you go into flower. If you're limited on height, you can do HST and super crop her.

Hey buddy, there is no reason for a topping anymore, the plant wont grow that much in size anymore, especially if you shock her now. You can cut off the big fan leaves on the top tho. they shadow your whole plant, it will have the same effect like a topping now, with less off a shock for the plant. I would advise you to cut down very big fan leaves all the time. they just shadow too much space and the plant doesnt need them in late flowering. But dont cut all, better a big fan leaf than wasted space in the tent that is empty. Just the big ones on top and very bottom. if they dont get much light on the bottom , the plant wont benefit from them and it highers your RH and chances for mold

you are in flower, you wont gain anything, just will loose your future best buds. too late, like 3-4 weeks too late.
