The pointy things are stipules. Those are not sex organs nor related to sex (you can find some bro-science nonsense out there about where they point relates to male/female, but that is nonsense of retards)
The nubs are too young to see a pistils, but probably fine.
No worries. You will have a ton of time to react long before any pollen is released. If you see a white hair, all is good. If it starts to project out on a twig and replicate, that's bad.
You can always pull off a small preflower, carefuly slice it openn with a razor blade, then use your 30x trichome-scope to look inside. You'll see 2 neatly packed pistils (white hairs) or some nanners clear as day. Smaller but look just like they will when they pop out, either of them.
