When should one lollipop an auto? Also, what characteristics would lead to you to think a certain plant is a good subject for lollipopping?

Short answer: when the plant has fully stretched. The typical answer is ~3 weeks into flower. During this phase, the plant has put out several buds along the stretched-out shoots. Lollipopping involves removing these side-buds from the bottom up, trimming off 1/3 to 2/3 of the plant's bottom mass.

Nutrients Uptake Issue 2nd grow, Black Orchid & Purple Punch autos in 13L pots, week 9, short & slow. 18/6 TS1000. LST went wrong, defoliation once a week. Soil surface dry, pots heavy. VPD ok. Defoliation of bushy plant during week 1 flowering I flipped my girls to flower 5 days ago and been lightly defoliating the big one (top right) over the last 4 days (plucking lower fan leaves and those blocking bud sites from the light, about 10 leaves a session) Was it a bad move considering I already flipped to flower?

I have a nutrient question. With full strength Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom should i still add Sensi Cal-Mag? Starting water is RO 5ppm. If yes, do I use full strength cal-mag or just add some to top off water? Or is full strength on both too much for those minerals?
