Lst right or wrong? Also light help

Am I doing this right? I started the lst, not sure if I’ve done them too tight or not? Would it be worth chucking a full spectrum led in with my cmh315 1000w?

Hi @DoobieCure The main stem was first bent down and away from the center of the plant, towards the side. After that, the grower continued to bend the main stem in a circle around the plant. As a result, several lower growth tips rose up to become colas with fat chunky buds, giving much bigger yields than if there was just one main cola.LST allows a better distribution of light since all parts of the plant (and therefore all the potential bud sites) are located the proper distance from your grow lights. Good luck mate 👍

dont use ropes, they cut through plant. garden wire is cheap and the fatter you use the softer it is and plant loves it. do lst before watering, that way you will reduce breaks and will be capable to bend more. check mines, youll see. good luck !

No I'm sorry but it's not a good lst to me , the rules are not really respected here, you need to bend the mains stem in a direction while bending the top in the opposite direction to have a plant that will be almost paralele to the soil and with the stems on the same level aka the same height . Lst is a method to help promoting the secondaries growth and create an even cannopy because of a better light repartition. I recommend you to read more tutorial about it or even to look at some youtube videos , there are planty of examples to follow out here or you can made o search on Gd with the searching engine and select the lst method only.

Be careful with how tight you tie your strings. If you forget about them, the stems will grow around it, literally swallowing them, and you may choke off a little of that transport to the rest of the stem. I would use the twisty tie stuff that comes on a reel, double it up near the end of the tie, shaped as a hook. That will allow the stem to grow and expand, while spreading out the hook part.

Lst looks fine to me 👍🏻 About the extra led for full spectrum: If your growspace is smaller than 90cmx90cm the cmh 315w is enough, especially when you have an overdrive switch which bumps the output power to 380w like a dimlux cmh Then I would spend the money on cmh 315 4K bulbs for veg(full spec extra blue) and cmh 315 3k for flower(full spec extra red) If your space is bigger you can invest in extra lights but keep in mind that the max useful output your ladies can process without adding extra co2 is around 600w/m2 Good luck with your grow ✌️💪🏻🌱

Looks like good lst to Us. Your 315 Watt should enough light intensity for top canopy coverage... If you wanted to add full spectrum leds for more Red and blue you could... But you'd probably wanna go with something a bit cheaper and less intense. There are plenty of good quality options in this category and lots of bad ones. Takes a bit of research to understand the kinds of Led that will benefit you the most. If your interested in going this route where you live becomes a huge factor... If your interested in going this route pm and we can help you out more.
