What light for my 40x40x120 cm tent

It's okay to be confused. It's confusing and hard to understand... Even experienced growers don't quite understand the concepts and technology behind Leds… Plurple is a term used to refer to lower quality/cheaper led lights. there are lots of leds out there that produce a "plurple" light that have proven to yield greatly with cannabis. A 250w Hps is a good light because of the spread spectrum and the light intensity. A 1000w HPS will provide more light at the cost of heat. Leds are technology based and changing and evolving. There is a huge gap between the leds of the 1980s and the led lights we use today. Where are as 1000w hps from today will be more efficient it will have similar performance to 1000w hps from the 1980s. Soo what do you do as a buyer? how do you make sense of all the techno babble and spread spectrums and efficiency... You research. Par/heating/ppfd/spectrum/power used are all factors that go into what makes a good grow light and not all are the same or perform even in the same categories really. About the ts600.. It is not too much power at all for that size of tent.. Depending on the size of the plant containers you have. As TS600 might be a perfect solution... Unfortunately the only way to really find a perfect solution for you is too research and then buy one you know will perform and hope for the best.

40x40x120 is not really big , you can use the Mars hydro TS600 as it's made for a 45 x 45 to 60x60 cm space but the heat could be an issue with a low height box. Try to avoid purple light , nowadays the white spectrum of the QB is better

Would aim for something like this. don't know your region though. But this is a great value and with your height limit the ability to dim is an awesome feature to have. It has a high par value and is full spectrum including UV and IR.
