Here’s my analysis based on your photos: My verdict: Wait a little longer (1 to 2 weeks) Even though the pistils are brown and the trichomes are milky, I suggest you wait a bit longer. Here’s why: 1. The final "swelling" In your photos, you can see that the calyxes (the little balls where the pistils come from) can still swell a bit. In the last 7 to 14 days, the plant often takes on an impressive mass. If you cut now, you’ll lose yield. 2. The state of the trichomes (The key) The "milky" stage indicates that THC is at its maximum, but the effect will be very cerebral and maybe a bit "speedy." The trick: Wait to see about 10% to 20% of amber trichomes appear. This means that THC is starting to degrade slightly into CBN, which brings a more relaxing, fuller effect and especially better flavor (terpenes are at their peak). 3. Senescence Your leaves are starting to yellow slightly (the plant is drawing on its last reserves), which is an excellent sign. It’s "finishing" nicely. They are ready! If you really ant to look deeper into it, get a microscope lens for your smartphone. Then you can check trichomes and time it perfectly. 30% Amber for most commonly wanted effects. But judging these photos, they look ripe. Pistils are brown, overall look gives me "harvest time" vibes. 😎
