Tent is 32"x32"x63". Being shared with a hydro in a 5-gallon bucket. I feel it is past time to begin training. What are your suggestions for training?

I like Ga4ad2en0er's answer (your name's to hard to spell man! Lol). You can literally just bend her over and expose lower nodes to light and air. They will grow and become mains. I did a very simple LST method with my NL#1 in my second grow. Nothing fancy at all, just the basics. Not trying to sell the diary to you, but I have updates and close ups of my bends and how I incrementally adjust them to get the results I'm looking for. The long and short of it: Single topping of the main @ the 6th node point. The rest was LST. Super simple, massive colas and a 120 gram harvest on her, alone. I topper a lot in my first grow but I advice not too. LST accomplishes the same task without the recovery time needed when we cut the girls head off. The new laterals that branch out will also be weaker and hold less bud quantity. By the end my mains were weak from too much topping and the product on the each was finite. This is just how I do it but we all fall into our own style. You may like some things I do but not others. Take what you like and leave the rest. In time you'll see what and where bends can be placed to optimize the tent area, yeild and mains👍👍. Lastly (sorry, getting long now) is to keep it simple. Small bends, adjusted every once in awhile. I stay away from more advanced methods like mainlining and HST methods. You will see in no time that the results of meticulous LST is just as good if not better then other high stress methods. Cheers and good luck finding your style!!🙂👊

if you LST and stop overwatering you might just pull the rabbit out of the hat ! Hope this helps ! 🚀

with 63" height, i would say topping (twice to give you 4, or 3 times to give you 8 main-colas in total), main-lining and lst to keep them apart a bit

One of the easiest ways to train and it can produce great yields is to simply bend the plant over. You start with the main stem, using good rubber coated garden wire, attach one end to just below the top growth node and one end to the side of your bucket (binder clips work very well for this) and slowly apply pressure and adjust daily. Dont crank too hard too or you could snap the stem. You'll basically get the plant growing in a curve similar to the shape of a lower case "r". Once you have the plant growing in this curve, you can then tie down the side branches to flatten out and even the canopy. This is a slightly higher stress version of "lst" training. I have grown plants under 15" that produced over 4 oz each with this method.

Hi dude! To me the best training method seems to be mainlining 'cos you only get top shelf nugs and really easy to harvest and trim, but in your system I wouldnt recommend it anymore cos it takes time and lots of topping. For you basic LST would be good and fast method. Just tie those tops down and make em more bushy!
