Flushing in super soil/coco

VeggieTales
VeggieTalesstarted grow question 4 years ago
Hello there fellow growers. I’m growing in a Super Coco mix using organic dry fertilizers and was wondering how and when to properly flush? Or if there is a need to flush? Thanks for any and all advice. Happy Growing Cheers! 🌱🎄🔥

Hello there VeggieTales, Organic dry fertilizers have their own time-release mechanism. I would strongly recommend looking at the guidelines made by the manufacturer. There are dry fertilizers available in pellets that you mix with the soil, they will be active for approximately 12 weeks. Then there's also vegetative- and flower-specific dry nutrients available which you can use as a booster in case the pellets are not providing enough. If you are using pellets in the soil, I would wait 12 weeks before flushing. If you are only using stage-specific nutrients you can switch to flushing whenever you want, simply by removing the dry nutrients from your water solution and instead adding Canna Flush. Good luck with your project, I wish you all the best! 👽
