my seedlings are about a week old and i mistakenly threw seeds into their final pot, like you do with autos and they have started to show signs of yellowing and tip burn..
is this due to the hot soil? and the reason why people transplant?

Currently have the light at 22 inches above the pots as I have a light meter app on my phone. It really is pretty accurate. At that distance it reads between 350/400 ppfd which is what I believe seedlings like to thrive. I have noticed manufacturers recommend 18 inches for seedlia month ago

Newbie queston7 days after starting. Messed up bit, compressed too much the soil and the seedlings got a bit stunted, also gave 0.5 ml calmag which may have caused some issues. They are in a 2x2 tent with sf1000 led 100w
