The clone was 2 weeks old put in soil in the coffee can It was put in the tent straight to flower No Veg time at all the clump of leaves at the bottom was how tall it was. Hi Growers. Everything is going well. Earlier this week I did another super light feeding, the same as last week. I raised the light to 50” and increased the light to 80% and will adjust accordingly per plant and environmental needs. I did notice a bit of yellowing on the PE and yesterday decided to do a stronger feed and go from there. I don’t want them starving and getting stressed into flower. After the first light feeds they popped up nicely so I’m interested to see how they like the higher feed. Environment wise, I turned on the oscillating fan to just help them strengthen their stocks and branches and still have the humidifier on. Temps & RH are good, no hot temp is a bit cool but it’s only 4 hrs. What week do you growers start training autos?? I’m starting node 5. Thanks for stopping, leave a like or comment if you’d like. Goodday growmies, Fire is growing slowly but very well..the nights are very cold (chilly) and the weather is still a bit unstable (temp range from 15-24C @day and 7-11C @night..) But on my garden table its always nice, when the clouds are gone, standing in the sun..😎👍 the pix are made in very early sunlight.. when its still chilly thats why her leaves are a bit curled down(i watered her yesterday, she is just waking up..😳) those will straighten up today, i promise 😇 (as u can see, leaves arealready curling in.. just by standing in sun for 15 minutes) I have sprayed her with neemoil-mix on 15-05 (8ml neemoil, with a bit of detergent so it sticks better(3 squeezes or something) and with 0.7 ltr luke warm water) Bc there are a lot of parasites on the loose..😡✊ a LOT of small spiders in my garden too i have to remove rags and strings a few times a day..or else she will be webbed in in a day!👹 outdoor growing is always challenging bc just have to share it all with nature.. (sigh) But i am @ home all day.. so lets GET IT ON!✊ happy growing for all 👊

Flower WK 8 - were close

Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. Day 54 from spout: Did a 4gal compost tea on 4/13 of worm castings, molasses, craft blend (bigger handful), build a flower (smaller amount), and frass for both plants. light/medium amount of defoliation every so often. I am trying not to take too much off at once to limit stress. After seeing how the plant did with topping, i think just bending (LST) branches will have similar results so i dont think i will top again. Scrog net will be on once it gets a little taller so i can really spread her out. Super bushy. Both plants. I feel bad for the one left in a small pot in the corner. I really like how it performed during veg so i might take clones of it a bit more than the main girl. A lot of bending an tucking almost daily. I think i will step up defoliation once the scrog goes on in a week or 2. I am trying to fight impatience but i cannot wait to see what the girls look like in flower. temps stable at high 70s tp 81 or 82F. Humidity i am keeping at mid/high 60s. 30Gal pot doesnt need much watering after the first correction or the last feeding i just did. the smaller potted plant i water once dry (every other day or 2).

Growing and glowing…defoliated her lower branches and changed her pot size.

Light on Spider farmer SF4000 was turned up to 70 percent plant is doing better. Light is still 36 inches above plants in a 2x4 tent. I turned the light to 70% from 50% 3 days later I think I see some nanners starting. Possible light stress? I am going to let it all play out really interested in seeing what happens. I am all about the learning.

moving on into the later stages of flowering i am waiting on the final stretch of bulking before the buds start to mature i am already seeing the odd pistil starting to brown but all in all we are still a few weeks from harvest happy growing friends friday update: we are now definetly well into the ripening stage as more and more pistils are turning the smell is becoming way more typical for a marijuana plant and there is more resin than before hope for a quick under 2 week finish so i can process before vacation and hopefully have a test smoke before leaving i dont care too much about flavors more just the effects

November 12th No added nutes Lst still with pipe cleaners I also cut the bottoms out off the pot and put it into another 3 gallon with more fox farm soil

Big thicc buds. Hard to imagine what these will look like at the end in about 3 more weeks. Used twine over the last few weeks to individually tie up about 15-20 branches to the three stakes I put in. A trellis would’ve helped a lot, but she’s sharing a room with plants earlier in flower now, which is why I decided not to use one a few weeks back.

Day 14 post flip. Parent plants. Parents are growing really well. Going to top here again soon Clone #1 Got cut a month ago it had balls Clone #2 Growing really well. First one to really start developing buds. About 18 days flip. This one seems the most standard in every category. Well rounded plant so far. Will see how buds grow. 45 inches Clone #3 This thing is no longer squat. It started off really slow, post flip it exploded. Close nodes it seems. Really excited to see if this turns out more indica or sativa. 47 inches Clone #4 I had to super crop this thing. It exploded from the very beginning. Absolute monster in such a small space. Can easily fill out a 4x4 will one of these things in a 10 gallon container. 36+9.5+10=55.5” Overall We are finally at the most important part of any pheno hunt, gotta see how these buds form. Plants are growing amazing. Shout out bioall365 and build a soil nutrients I amended bioall365 which is loaded already with some build a soil nutrients and it’s been hot but no burning. Haven’t had to give them anything but water and plants are still showing signs it’s hot. Got lots of supports going. Her growth seems to be slowing down a bit which is helpful. She’s also showing no signs of light stress. Under a 400w led eating it like it’s nothing. Loving these girls. God bless!
