Week 5 for my plant so far it might be 4 more week to go, i have cut down a little bit of nitrogen The bud get nicer and got more trichomes but it seem not harden up by now. I have 5 large branches as in the video and 5 other small branches, how many gram dry will i get anyone have a guess i'm excited the last picture is the bud i cut down because the downside of it has greymold, i dry it for 5 day and cure for 6 day seem pretty nice, enter your thought :) If there anything i would do in this stay to maximize the crop, need suggestion

Aug 23: Tropicana Cookies Fast Flowering is. cruising along toward the finish. Nice and symmetric with 16 colas all forming a nice long stick of buds. Should be a really good yield off of this one. No pue colour uet but I’m sure it’s coming soon. Aug 27: hit 32 C today and will be hot for another five days or so. With this late heat wave I’ve upped the daily water volume to about 9 L a day over three waterings. Still adding potassium silicate once a day and always adjusting pH with vinegar and then a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent. Smell of peppermint also repels pests, supposedly.

Foliar sprayed with neem at lights on today. C02 has been increased to 800 ppm average, humidity lowered to 70%. Light power has been increased, now running at 35%. Amazing growth, finally removed all the rogue sunflowers as I didn't notice any significant gains having them. They're getting thirsty today but I'm going to give them another day, possibly 2, before I feed again. I'd like one last heavy wet/dry period for root stretch and then I'll go heavy with some organic nitrogen into flip. I can't use the same net as previous harvests because of the new room design so I'll have to create a new frame to start building the final even canopy. I'm fairly happy with how both groups of plants are growing into an even canopy within their expected timelines. Day 12 - Light intensity increased to 40%. Fed today, 1.05ec (6.8ph) with 10-15% runoff. No signs of light bleaching or stress, their leaves are almost always praying upwards. They could use a lollipopping, but with how quick they're growing I'll most likely wait until a couple days before flip to clean them up now.

Week went again very uneventful. The plant does what she is supposed to be doing (gaining weight) :). Still lots of new pistils appearing overnight, I am checking the Trichomes daily, however, everything remains milky, with only very little % of amber trichomes. Once amber colours start increasing I will start flushing.

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 84°F. We had intermittent storms and showers throughout the day that took care of the watering. The powdery mildew treatment worked well on these. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 88°F. We had on and off rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. The rain took care of the watering. These responded well to treatment. I'll treat again tomorrow. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 94°F with clear sunny skies. I watered about 5 gallons from the well. I treated these again with Growers Ally fungicide. The warmer nights, blazing sun, and this fungicide have really cleared up that powdery mildew. They've also decided to go all in on flowering. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 94° with sunny skies. Heat index was over a hundred. It was super hot today. I watered twice about 8 gallons total. Everything looked good after treatment. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 95 and partly cloudy skies. I watered twice about 4-5 gallons each time with well water. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 91°F with partly cloudy skies. I watered twice today 4-5 gallons each pot, each time. These look great after treatment. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 88°F with sunny skies. I watered 5-6 gallons each pot. This week was a success. The powdery mildew issue has been cleared up. The Growers Ally fungicide worked great. These girls have rooted into the ground through the pots which is helping some of the 100+heat index days. It's hard to keep these pots moist in that kind of heat. Overall it was a great week.

Buds are stacking nicely. I can't help but wish they were a bit bigger. Not sure if this is due to the root issue earlier in the grow, the new LEDs, or the fact that I FIMed and then LST the plant to have lots of tops. I'm thinking it's probably a combo. Not thinking the ES300s are to blame since they make shit grow so quick and happy. Part of it is also that my #4 and #1 will be pretty light compared to #2 and #3. But ultimately, I think I'm going to be extremely happy with the quality and frostiness of it all... I'm dropping PPMs from low 500s to high 400s throughout the week.

A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. The primary form of respiration in healthy plant roots is aerobic respiration, which is highly efficient, yielding up to 30-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form
