Just another photo dump lol This girl is proving to be a slow finish for me. Going on to week 16 now and I’ve decided to give her the flush as her trichs are all starting to go amber. I felt I’ve traded enough potency for yield now and I don’t think she’s really racking on much more weight. This might be the last update until after harvest. Up until it’s time to trim and jar. Wish me luck folks. I’m thinking I’ll be close to a half pound of this fatty 😍😂

The first week after the flip. What I have been working on is bringing Gelato's soil pH up. Gelato was given water at 6.5 pH and the run off was measuring 5 pH (yikes.) After flushing with 3 gallons of water at 8 pH, the soil pH was still measuring 5 pH. The reaction the plant had tho after the flush was positive, which is to say, no more burning or yellowing leaf tips 5 days post flush. Sour Diesel and Do Si Dos were fed VEG nutrients at 50% strength ( 1.5 tsp Big Bloom and 1.5 tsp Grow Big.) and the pH of the liquid was 6.5. Everyone is looking good. Because it is only the first week of flower, "the stretch" is yet to be seen.

Now that the final curtain has been drawn.. or tent flap, it is with a sad heart that we at the "In the Closet with Two Strains" Studio will be saying goodbye. She was never the most impressive plant, kept feeling like she would bloom more but the conditions were never truly right for her. Both plants had their branches sliced at the stem and large leaves removed, this purposely slowed drying down to maximise end flavour. They were both washed in cleaning pools to prepare them for their final journey in the tent. With a sad heart we wish you farewell Buddy, we will see you and Powell soon... IN OUR SMOKE REPORT! The quality of the seeds is indisputable. The quality of nutrient fertilizers as well. Unfortunately last week I was very busy, and with such rapid growth, I could not mount the net for the scrog, now they are too big for this method. So they will grow free, with LST and HST, when needed, and defoliation. Have fun and see you next week

Just got them potted. Plants are in Shock. Removed Damaged Leaves. after Day 1. New growth is standing up and Praying. Flooding every 3 hours. 9/18/2020 had a problem that looked like Cal-Mag issues & overwatering... Was using the tank labels for water marks to tell how much water was in the tank. Discovered that the marks from the factory are wrong. Measured back in exactly 100 Gallons of water and re-nuted the tank. It didn't solve my issue. So I changed the water flood schedule to see if I was overwatering or underwatering. no response from the plants except it was getting worse. After trying things for two days, I "Phoned a friend"... and they suggested to turn the lights down to 25%. BAM! after 20 min or so, there was a positive response and lifting of the leaves... Moral of the story is to start your clones and a lower light setting and gradually bring them up over time. Pics included...

Na última semana os pistilos começaram a ficar alaranjados, os buds engordaram pouco, espero que nos próximos dias eles finalizem bem gordos! Darei a ela fertilizante por mais uma semana e depois flush por outra semana, creio que daqui uns 20-25 dias estarei colhendo!
