Week 10 – Gorilla Girl in Full Bloom! We’ve hit Week 10, and our Gorilla Girl by Sweet Seeds is deep into the flowering stage — and looking absolutely stunning! Standing at around 70 cm, she’s fully adapted to the SCROG setup, with buds forming beautifully across the canopy. Her structure is strong, her leaves vibrant, and the aroma is starting to intensify. We continue feeding her with Xpert Nutrients Bloom Formula, and the results speak for themselves — healthy growth, solid bud formation, and great vitality. dia 71 - esta semana los cogollos van aumentando y han aparecido algunos tonos anaranjados en los pelos que le dan una pinta muyt apetecible. como se puede ver en las hojas está generando una cantidad grande de resina. en algunos puntos se puede ver alguna deficiencia de fosforo. lo achaco a problemas en el riego ya que estuve fuera unos días y el deposito se agotó. lo bueno es que no debería ir a más y los daños son muy puntuales

Well she has grown some to say the least. A lot more pistils sprouting and their calyx’s swelling💪🏻.Nothing much else to report other than she seems to be doing just fine, other than a little tip burn from the addition of nutes she has taken to it all like a trooper💪🏻

May 15: later start as a replacement for my failure on Durban Poison. Have wanted to fit this one in for a while and should be an easy and reliable grow. Top tip for germination stage is get a heating mat. My house is usually about 18 C but cannabis, tomatoes and pepper all need it warmer to start properly. So, get a heating mat. i usually keep it at about 26 C. Next germination tip is to expose the newly sprouted seed to ethylene gas just before it first reaches light. This is a huge tip for all growers. Seed ‘priming’ using ethylene gas in dark before seedling is exposed to light. https://scitechdaily.com/accidental-discovery-how-a-whiff-of-an-unusual-chemical-transforms-seedlings-into-super-plants/ Seed priming works. I tried it last year on peppers, tomatoes and cannabis. 😎 This is as big a tip as my standard “get a pH meter”. Seed priming takes minimal effort (use a ripe apple or banana) and it certainly seems to pay off big time as shown by my last two seasons. I’ll be doing this every single time now.

She's also showing light green around the leafs maybe slight magnesium deficiency. 10/11/2019 - Yellow leafs showing up really fast so I 'flushed' the medium with 1l of 6.4 PH plain water, watered until some run off start to showing, change the watering plan again, now I only water when the pot feels light and dry at the bottom. 13/11/2019 - Pot was really light and dry at the bottom so I gave her 1.5l of water with 0,75ml of Grow, 1,5ml of Bloom and 0.75ml of Max BioBizz PH 6.5 until some runoff started to appear I think was too much again : also added a work-supplement led strip light. 14/11/2019 - Leaves looking pale raise the light to 45cm instead of the recommended by manufacture 25-40cm.

This week as went well, plants are starting to bulk up and get comfortable in their new pots. Next week or the week after next might be the time to transplant them into their forever home pots, then flip to flower after 3 weeks of them growing into their new space. They have been getting a bit to much N with the Gaia Green 4-4-4 mix, I keep forgetting how much it gives them and that I need to mix it with the power bloom 2-8-4 in 25-30/75-70 or 50/50 ratios. I have extra Gaia Green Soluble seaweed extract to make up the missing K in the ratio mixes. Still mixing the PH a bit lower at 6.0 with the citric and malic acid tests, plants are going well with them, tested a bit of runoff with the one smaller plant and was getting aorund 7.5, EC still sky high so wont need to feed for a while now but they are not burning and that's a good thing. they seem to be tolerating the Potassium Silicate as well, I don't like how much it alters the PH but till I get in some ground wollastonite. Sames extras as any other week with the addition of some magnesium, rest as follows, yucca extract, silicon, potassium seaweed extract, microbes, fulvic acid, Clones are doing ok, when I took the photo of them this week they looked good and then 10 min outside of their humidity dome they looked like shit and all withered. Some of them are showing signs of putting on roots with little white specs on the stalk coming through. Will have to place them in some potting medium soon and see if they take off. And if they do I will have some to give away to whoever wants them in my friend group. I also have that one smaller plant that was delayed by a week or so thats also extra. Got to find a loving home for it, my other grow buddies don't have anything started ATM and don't want to start till later in the year. :( Pepper update! some of the peppers are living the high DLI of the lights and some of them are not... the purple jigsaw ones seems to be getting a bit burnt under the lighting. They all will be taken out soon enough. I should look at transplanting them into other pots soon and they likely root bound. Can set up something in my room with an old SF1000 I got or the Sunblaster 18" 6500k lights that I used to grow with. When I touch the leaves of the goronong and them smell my finger they have a lot of hot pepper aroma coming off of them. I think these peppers are going to be quite spicy when they are all done. The Fatalii peppers are the same and I know they are spicy AF but their smell is a bit more bright and less earthy as the goronong still pungent all over. The Fatalii are also a bit smaller, could be the older seed just is not as vibrant as new seed. Should be fine once they are outside always a good producer for me. Going to make infused salt with them and give that out as gifts to my friends. 11/20: Harvested all 3 Gorilla Cookies. It took them a week to dry. Dry weights: plant A - 121g plant B - 80g plant C - 100g Final thoughts: It was easy weed to grow, and produced a lot of dense/heavy/delicious flowers. Would def grow it again.👌 Potency: 8/10 Yield: 9/10 Flavor: 9/10 Aroma: 7/10 Bag-appeal: 10/10 Bud density: 10/10

Put into paper towel June 4/21, Popped June 8 and put into soil. Humid and hot conditions, high 20-30s •C. Rained overnight and into the morning of June 8th. Very humid day. Placed into plastic cups with slits for easy transplanting. Grow baby grow!! June 9th- poor girl got trashed by vermin overnight. Transplanted back into soil and topped with worm castings. The jerks…. Showing great signs of life after… about to pop the seed off the sprout 💪🏼 June 11th- not sure if it’s because we’ve had less sunlight and cooler temps, or if she’s having difficulties popping her shell off but she’s looking kinda droopy. She’s well enough hydrated…. Or seemingly so. Humidity also dropped after several days of high temps and humidity. Shock from the vermin transplant? After a previous fresher week, heat is back and daytime temperature reach 25-27° C again, plants are now flowering and the only automatic is close to be ready (about 2 weeks left I think). I will inspect triconomes with my lenses and microscope. 2x ICE 78cm (+6cm) & 69cm (+2cm) === No idea why this difference! Hi guys, day number 40 is the last day at 18/6. Now I'll give 24 hours of darkness and Then I'll start the 12/12 cycle. Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row.
