We're beyond excited to try out this new MarsHydro LED for our latest grow, the SP-3000 is INCREDIBLY bright!! ..I have never seen a light more appropriate for a 4x2 tent in my life, we (happily) replaced 3 "600 watt" blurple LEDs with this single rig ( something we've wanted for a very long time). There should be no issue achieving perfect coverage, corner to corner with this light. Its been years since we've flowered under LED ( and never one of this quality), we're a little bias towards HID/CMH, especially my hubby but I think this might just be the LED that changes our mind! We'll be growing Gelat OG Auto by Seedsman (we've heard amazing things) for our first grow under the SP-3000, all plants in 5gl fabric pots, Promix-B (25% perlite) on a 20/4hr cycle. We're starting with 4 plants but if they become unmanageable, we'll move one or 2 of the plants to another tent. We use a glass of water and a paper towel as our germination method. We soak seeds roughly 24hrs and then in a wet paper towel for another 12-24hrs, we average roughly a 90% success rate doing it this way... They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. I’ll try to get better and more pics. Started flushing Gorilla Zkittlez last week, so one more to go. By far the best run I’ve had. Clipped a few lower nugs the other day and usually my past harvest would have a grassy/hay smell right away. But that’s not happening this time. Gorilla Zkittlez has a nice berry/fruity Gasy/diesel smell. And the Gorilla Cookies and like a Grapefruit Diesel smell. It’s wicked. Thanks for following my grow. I appreciate you! 🤛🏽🤛🏽🙏🏼

Fall is coming... After finishing stretch last week, the introduction of Hy-Pro Epic Bloom really got the bud production going. Mimosa stem is covered in trichomes, Blueberry is showing beautiful colors and Jack Herer is bulking. Everything is going as planned so far. Not that much to do at this point. Following my Hy-Pro nutrient scheme makes it just super easy, to turn those plants into the most beautiful ones, i ever grew. Just like last week, i fed them the following: Hy-Pro Terra: 4,5ml/l (component nutrients) Hy-Pro Generator: 0.16ml/l Hy-Pro Cal-mag: 4ml/l Hy-Pro Epic Bloom: 0,5ml/l EC: 1,8 VPD: 1,40 PPFD: 930 µmol/m²/s Blueberry and Mimosa Evo are showing some very characteristic colouring. I am very happy, to see this. Can't wait to see them in full colouration. It really is a Joy, to watch them change colours so rapidly, you can see differences every day. Pure plant entertainment. Two of the three have been cut. The first one was just a stubby little lady that had just under an ounce of dried flower. The second one was taken last night and her main cola weight 5 wet and was just covered in oily terpenes. This last one while behind the others is by FAR the frostiest and I can’t wait for her to ripen. Therefore I am not calling it a harvest until the trichomes become perfect as the last one did.

**Party time—**all three seeds have sprouted! I’m gently watering the plants, and it turns out that the ring formed by the mulch works perfectly as a visual guide for where not to water. This helps me avoid flooding the still-fragile seedlings. Again, I’m not sure if it’s necessary, but that’s how I’m rolling for now. Now let’s get down to the stats. I’ve done a fair share of theory, and I’m aiming for an ideal VPD. For the early vegetative phase, I’m targeting a VPD of 0.5 kPa. That translates to around 85% relative humidity at about 28°C. For light intensity I am aiming for 200 to 300 PPFD. Watering is every other day to keep the soil moist and prevent it from turning hydrophobic.

The overall growth was excellent indeed , she was a medium yield, decent bag appeal, would recommend using 5 gal pots at least. Also not ten or nine stars because i had a 80% germination rate with msnl, but overall 8/10

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

week 4 and she is filling out nicely. bud growth is on par with a synthetic grow. Smell is wonderful! There is something in the organic soil that makes the weed smell divine. I'll never go back to synthetic nutrients. 4 weeks to go can't wait.

. FIRST DAYS ------------- New week, new diet The girls are getting 3+3ml of Grow A+B, and still 2ml of Voodoo. Instead of 3 waterings of 1L, we are now doing 3 x 3L. One of the girls has some minor burns, so I am keeping a close eye on that. An excess of nutrients seems unlikely to me, but I will see in a few days after this increase. MIDWEEK ----------- It's probably not just the Voodoo, but my girls have grown a lot this week. I think they like this little juice 😉The root system still has some work to fill the 15L of coco, but things are going well. As for the small burns on the leaves, I think it's due to heat and/or wind stress: the temperature frequently rose to +35°C and the leaves were shaken by my fans, which were directed straight at them. I increased the speed of my filter and placed the fans facing the sides of the tent while increasing the air flow; we're back to an average of 30°C. To be continued. But most importantly, the girls have developed 4-5 nodes... so it's training time! 👍 I know what many people think about topping autos, but I disagree; it clearly has the advantage of giving the plant an airy structure that is easy to control and produces denser buds when combined with mainlining and light lollipopping. My goal: a 6-branch structure, which may eventually develop a few side branches. To achieve this, two toppings a week apart and some serious LST are needed. I'll try to film the whole process, training sess by training sess, and post the results here in a few weeks. Week 3: 4 of the ladies showed sex this week. The big girl popped pistils on day 18 and the other 3 ladies popped pistils on day 20. I hope ill get another week of veg before the growth spurt and fill out their pots. Training: during the 4 days of ponytailing i noticed the aggressive growth on the side branches, cant say it had a big effect as bending has. This week i held the branches down with wiring to create nice strong branches and ive been leaf tucking everyday. I lock the leave blades together with lower leaves to hold them in place but they wont stay down. Im trying to avoid selective deleafing till after the big growth spurt. Nutrients: the ladies had their first feeding last week and 2 waterings ph'd to 6.5 with 2 dry days between every watering. Ill be giving their 2nd feeding on day 25. Im raising the dosage of Canna Terra Vega from 0.5ml/L to 1ml/L

Not really big buds but going really good,they have time to grow more flowers but don't hope too much,still love them,D53(Update)I purchase an CFL maxibright 200W and I'm gonna still with that until harvest
