Back with the Lemons, Thanks for coming by! Day 44 - Height: LP#1 @ 36" / LP#2 @ 33" The Lemons move into week 7. They have a fantastic smell now! The scent in the room is a sugary, sweet citrus backed up by a spicy black pepper. I pruned off the lower leaves that were turning yellow, many of them were squashed and bent from the walls anyway and some were actually hanging off where they've been pushed about a bit in the space, but it's all good. The buds on LP#2 are really tightening up now, but they're really making the buds on LP#1 look a bit leggy, especially the buds on the side stems. In terms of issues, there is some pretty serious light bleaching going on in the tips of the leaves, but what's done is done, so I'll have to keep an eye out for that in future grows. Otherwise plants look healthy. Leaf Surface Temperature at the canopy is 25c, which is about 2-3c lower than the ambient temps in the space, so I think thats all good, despite the light bleaching they shouldn't be suffering from heat stress too much really. Hopefully going to see the buds fatten up real nice over the next couple of weeks before harvest! Day 48 - Height: LP#1 @ 36" / LP#2 @ 33" Day 48 and the Lemon Twins are really starting to get sticky and pack on the weight now. LP#2 can't hold herself up at all anymore, so I've had to string a whole bunch of wires up to keep the side stems vertical. It's nice though because it condenses the footprint in my tent. I did the same with my Kush from last grow and it actually makes my space a bit easier to deal with. I think they must be approaching harvest window in a week or so, but I'm going to let them run a couple more weeks at least before I start checking trichomes seriously. All healthy and nothing bad to report though! One thing I'm not really sure about and keep trying to research is the effect of light bleaching on plants. Mine always suffer from quite severe light bleaching or nutrient burn on the tips by this point in their lifecycle which actually comes mostly from the heat and light coming back off the reflective walls I think, as it burns the leaves next to the walls the most. My plants seem to grow well and look healthy in all other respects though and they yield well enough, so I don't really know if it's a problem. I need to read a lot more about this. She’s been a thirstier girl more recently...been drying out every 3-4 days, 5 max. Getting real full. I’ve been putting minimal effort in due to the organic soil I decided to use, but she’s responding to everything really well.

Bonjour à tous , Ont peux dire que maintenant la floraison à commencé pour ces demoiselles , certaines sont encore en retard , en près floraisons je dirais mais ça avance ! Les journee diminue et donc la nuit arrive plus tôt dans la journée Cependant je ne sais pas pourquoi celles ci ne sont pas toutes au même niveau... La semaine dernière je voulais arrêter l'apport en azote mais je vois qu'il y a de grosse carrence donc je repars sur une production de purin d'ortie que je continuerais à apporter en plus petite quantité au long des semaines avenir afin qu'il n'y est plus de carrence.... L'odeur est forte à présent , réellement forte.. 🙌😁 Je continue le palissage / LST tous les 2 à 3 jours et cela deviens de plus en plus compliqué mais j'aime ça 😂🍀 J'ai ajouté de la cendre de bois au pieds de ces demoiselles et continue à leurs fournir des peau de bananes à foison !!!! Je pense fournir plus de photo durant cette semaine en espérant que l'azote apporté aura un réel impact pour épargné ces carrence Petit retour également de la Black Domina 0 qui se porte à merveille dehors avec un très beau début de floraison !! This is the shorty of the bunch. I topped and defoliated every plant. I'm trying to form them into canna-bushes. Hopefully I'm doing the correct training procedures to make them all grow that way both indoors and out.

This week was the last time i have fertilized, and from next week onwards they will only be given a little Canna Cannazym. I think it will take them about 2 weeks to finish.

I am a little bit worried it’s going too slow (compared to reference grows from other diaries), but patience is hard and there’s still 3 to 4 weeks of flowering to be done. The breeder advises 7 to 8 weeks, which is a bit optimistic, but they also advise 9 weeks for optimal taste and a smoother effect. The girls still grew a bit vertically, so even 5 weeks into flower, they aren’t fully focused on the development of the buds. Maybe this week, some serious XL bud stacking will take place 😊. I had some problems this week with heat and humidity. For two days, temperatures were at 28 degrees with lights on; a bit too high, but nothing extreme. More problematic was RH: it oscillated a lot between 45 and 60% during lights on and peaked at 70% with lights off. There will be some dry weather the days ahead, so RH will probably stabilize around 50% the following days. Nevertheless, I increased the power of both fans and the exhaust to the max, so there’s more than enough airflow throughout the whole tent. I did some slight defoliation, but nothing extreme. I don’t want to stress them out in this phase and cause them to herm. Hence, I took away max. 2 leaves per plant per day and only when tucking away wasn’t possible. The run off EC is at 2.0-2.1, while 1.8 (close to 1.9) is going in. pH of the runoff is around 5.9, except Iris’ run off, that one is always at 5.5. Hopefully, I will see some classical XL buds building up this week and head on for a nice harvest. Thanks for reading, stay safe and happy growing!

It's all happening. Buds are thickening out really nicely. The only downside is that I haven't anticipated how tall haze grows. I've had to do a bit of LST on my largest top bud to keep it away from the light....it has grown about 5cm from the lamp, so i've trained it back down to 10cm under the lamp. Next time I need 2 ScROG nets - The first needs to sit about 15cm from the base of the pot, with constant training in the weeks 1-3 to get the plant growing right to the edge of the tent. The second will be added in week 5-6 about 40cm from the base of the pot - when the plants meet the second net I'll then train the top buds inwards towards the centre of the net. I am also DEFINITELY defoliating properly next time - all the lower branches have died off and I'd like all that energy to be directed towards the flowers. Has to be the last job before I flip my lights.

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve reported anything I am sorry I haven’t been able to keep up. I’ve been going through a lot with getting them to flower ...different nutrients changing to 12 / 12 light ...it got very hot and lost my air...we will see if it hurt there growth ...

So this plant was a dream, stayed so lush and healthy throughout, grew tallish, strong really bobbly, swollen calyx structure to the buds, really sparkly with crystals, just lovely. Smell is fruity and pungent, impressive yield, just great.
