Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Arrosage plutôt léger cette semaine (tout les deux jours), après le sur arrosage et l'excès de nutriments de la semaine dernière elles se sont très bien remises. La dernière est toujours en retard, elle continue sa croissance donc pas d'inquiétude ! On entre dans une période de canicule (35/40°C) donc le climatiseur tourne à fond, j'arrive à limiter la température à 26/27 max et environ 24 de moyenne. L'humidité est un peu difficile à maîtriser malgres le déshumidificateur, en moyenne 57,7% mais il chauffe, donc il faut trouver le juste milieu. Pour le moment tout va bien, j'attends de voir la suite ☀️

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 12 - Friday 6th Nov: Nutes in today, haven’t really had to do much else, as the girls just seem to be concentrating on fattening up the buds at a nice steady pace. Oh and this week I’ve finally got a hint of a fruity tropical sweet smell from the buds.. It’s truly lush.. My thoughts are now at when to flush the ladies and how many weeks are left? I’d like to time it all perfectly but as this is my first grow now sure exactly how long they have left! Trichomes are still looking clear and pistils are still mostly white but don’t wanna get caught out and miss the best time to harvest and flush.. Keeping a close 👁️.. UPDATE: Day 4 of week 12 - Sunday 8th Nov: Nutes in again and all looking good, except for the girl that got really wilted last week, she’s doing ok but no way near as nicely developed as the other 3 girls. She has one main cola that’s taken off more than all the other colas which I think may be partly due to topping not working as well as is did on the other 3 girls, she still has one really thick stem compared to the other 3. However the wilting did really slow her down on top of that 😞.. Apart from that I’m pretty happy, Christmas 🎄 is coming and it looks like I will have my first ever home grown smoke just in time.. 🙏🏼❤️🌱 UPDATE: Day 7 of week 12 - Wednesday 11th Nov: Nutes in and a small amount of defoliation. Girls weren’t quite ready for a feed yesterday but this morning they were super thirsty and leaves 🍃 were slightly droopy, nothing major but they were all really ready for a drink. Put an extra 18w 2700k LED strip (from an impulse buy at the beginning of my grow journey) in last night to try and boost bud growth. I think my Viparspectra 300w LED alone wasn’t cutting it. I know it’s only a small increase in watts but the extra 2700k flower lighting for the last week weeks of flower can’t be a bad thing right? .. My DLI was 32 before adding the light so I hope this works positively. Looking at the girls at around 10 hrs after adding the additional LED and they look great so let’s see what happens.. ✌️🏼 & ❤️🍃🌱

I am really Happy with this Strain, it's growing so beautiful, this week she Streched so much and started now to pack up as well. You can see even the first signs of frost coming up. I hope you Like my Grow. Im looking forward to some beautiful Buds in the near future !

70 Days 10 Weeks Flower Time 2 out 5 for Density Support Needed

Ich musste mich etwas nach dem Wetter richten. Der Sommer hat sich etwas Zeit gelassen. Wir hatten hier noch einige kalte Nächte wo man die Damen dann zu viel hin und her räumen müsste. Dazu auch nicht so viel Sonne wie man sich wünscht. Das soll sich aber in der nächsten Zeit ändern. Um den werdenden Ladys bestmögliche Bedingungen im Outdoor-Bereich zu bieten muss man sich leider etwas nach dem Wetter richten. Daher werden die Seeds kommenden Mittwoch in ein Glas Wasser mit Seedbooster Plus von Plagron für 15/16 Stunden eingelegt bevor es zum keimen in die Anzuchttöpfe geht. Wenn alles nach Plan läuft, erblicken die Ladys spätestens Sonntag das Licht der Welt. Dann werden sie für die erste Woche kontrolliert im kleinen Anzuchtzelt angezogen. Spätestens den Sonntag darauf an Tag 7 kommen die jungen Damen in jeweils 11L Stofftöpfe. Die drei Ladys werden dann bis zu den ersten Blüteanzeichen in einem kleinen Gewächshaus Platz finden. 3 Seeds Auto Candy Bubatz XL von DutchPassion wurden in ein Glas mit Wasser und 2 Tropfen Seedbooster von Plagron für ca 15 Stunden eingelegt. Danach ging es für die Seeds in kleine Anzuchttöpfe. Mit einer kleinen Heizmatte unter den Anzuchttöpfen und den Kuppeln auf den Töpfen wird für das warm/feuchte Klima gesorgt, das die Seeds anfangs benötigen um zu keimen. Am Tag an dem die Ladys das Licht der Welt erblicken, kommen die Kuppeln ab und die Ladys spüren dann auch ihre ersten Luftzüge. Nach 3 Tagen in den Anzuchttöpfen hat eine Lady und nach 4 Tagen haben auch die beiden anderen Ladys das Licht der Welt erblickt. Das Substratgemisch besteht aus ca 75% BioBizz Lightmix und ca 25% Cocos mit Perliten. Auf das fertige Substratgemisch kommen dann noch ca 5% Megaworm von Plagron. Angegossen wurde mit 1g/L BioEnhancer und 1ml/L PowerRoots. Der ph-Wert wurde vor dem gießen auf 6.0 korrigiert. Jede Lady bekam für den Anfang ca 30ml in die Anzuchttöpfe. Möge der Grow beginnen.

- WEEK 8 - ----- Day 50 ----- Woo hoo. End is in sight and the plants are still PACKING the pounds on. Big Bertha is 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. The hidden massive Gertha is 8 inches in circumference in the middle in just bud alone and isn't even the largest part of this 8 inch long nug... Fed 1150ppm 13L 6.4pH 5-15+ days left. 2-4 days till I start looking into trichome finish period. Forgot to take a regular full shot and shots of tropicanna glookies. oh well. Later tonight if I remember. I stopped bud candy cause I'm using a lot more molasses and its literally a sugar in itself so why put in bud candy which is just sugars... seems redundant. ----- Day 51 ----- Easy day of watching. Some nice bud shots today. The whole basement smells of weed candy. Back right Tropicanna is pineapple gummy bear, front right is just gummy bear. Wedding Cake is like sweet weed, you get the regular smell of pot but instead of skunky its sweet but that Tropicanna is just alllll candy no weed smell at all. I did the first 60x shot today. 5% cloudy 95% clear on the Tropicanna. Long ways to go. I'll be doing the Wedding Cake later tonight, got side tracked. ----- Day 52 ----- Fed 1200ppm 6.4ph 12 Liters Tropicanna Glookies is going full blown purple. Should be covered in dark purple coloration within the week. Wedding Cake is just fat. Super fat large nugs. Easy day. Forgot to take trichome pics of Wedding Cake will do that later today probably. Well, the largest bud is 1 foot in circumference now... rofl ----- Day 53 ----- Easy day. Fed some water, they're getting thirsty again. I'm going to do a 13L feeding , then next day 5L water. So that's what I did today. I'll be dropping the Kool Bloom Powder & CaliMagic by day 56 and only feed 1/2 strength molasses only. Will pick the buds off as they finish, not gonna do 1 big chop unless it manages to turn out that way. Colors are going wild. Will check Wedding Cake & Tropicanna trichomes before lights out will update pics then. ----- Day 54 ----- 1300ppm 13L 6.4ph fed Here's some pics. Wedding Cake is nowhere near ready by the trichomes. Barely any cloudy, no amber. ----- Day 55 ----- Tropicanna really turning purple now starting to infect the leaves at top of canopy. Can't wait for what Day 63 holds for all these ladies. Not going to check trichomes till probably day 58 Easy day, last fert feed with chemical nutrients tomorrow, after that its just molasses. ----- Day 56 ----- Didnt even bother with ppm/pH. Molasses. roughly 30-50ml in 13-15 Liters. Smoked a tester of the Tropicana Glookies (Sativa) God daaaamn. Shits fire. Extremely strong. Very Cerebral and its not even at its peak yet... I've chosen Tuesday as Harvest day for both Tropicana Glookies plants (they're clones of each other) A single Wedding Cake testing nug is drying right now, I'll judge when it gets harvested based on the high, and if not sufficiently near my level i'll give it 2 days before drying another nug and trying again. I want heavy ass couch-lock. 6 days for Tropicana. Probably 8 for Wedding Cake. Will send samples off to Canvas Labs for testing like I've done in the past and will be making both edibles and bubble hash and will post those here as they happen. Once thats done I will see if I can restart veg mode in this grow, and if so I will keep this going until the plants die (and just make side diaries for each individual plant variety grow). Should be interesting. *** update *** Where'd the 1.5 Liter water bottle go? rofl

Week was good, give her just cold water now to the end. Now buds getting big amd slowly start purple. Have a nice week ✌️

These girls are doing great. Running out of room to move my light so hopefully they're done growing up lol. Small nugs are starting to form and the smell its starting to get strong smells very nice. Got a bigger dehumidifier to help with humidity was staying between 50-70 the last couple weeks finally getting down to 40. They're appetite is really ramping up now and they're drinking about a gallon a day between the three of em.

I fed the plants 75% nutrients for it's very last feeding although 6 or more leaves are showing signs of nitrogen deficiency but the buds are still growing, all signs show that I think they need 2 more weeks. Most pistols are amber, and a few new pistols still grow from the tops or sides of each bud. New sugar leaf growth on the tops look more rounded. The trichomes on the oldest sugar leaves have turned amber, less so on middle and top. Trichomes on the buds range from appearing clear, cloudy and milky, but not amber. I want the trichomes on the buds to be anywhere between 10-30% amber.

(Monday) Trichomes are milky so flush week will commence. I’ll do a week of Florakleen only to get rid of any salts and nutrients in the root base and then just pure ph’d water for final week. Not rushing this as I wasn’t super happy with my last grow of Zkittlez because of my cure. (Thursday) Posted a pic of the first “dark and curly” as I like to call the amber trichomes. Smell has really shifted to a sweet, berry scent. The first time I’ve smelt weed like that.

Just did the switch to 12/12. Decided not to scrog. It’s my first time not scrogging. I have been training them a bit. One of the plants has been abused by me a bit. It didn’t love being topped. Not sure but it grew very bushy and I’ve been working hard on it. Using it as a bit of an experiment.

7/25 the LST and supercropping is on the clone of the original blueberry plant in this diary. Everything seems to be okay. I'm just waiting for things to start flowering so I can start on the home stretch of this grow💚 so close🙏🤘 🤞 7/28 shes looking good, starting to fill out more 7/29 just took pictures

Everything is looking great ! Cheese is nearly done, it is starting to show amber. Maui is very happy and smells amazing, it just glistens with tri-chromes. Buttercream is doing well but I think it will take a week or two longer than the others. Blueberry is looking awesome very large thick dense buds. No Blueberry smell but a very strong plant otherwise. *Update Buttercream gelato started throwing Banana's so I removed it from the room. I trimmed it down and did not notice any other signs of hermaphroditism but I will still harvest the plant now just to be safe. There have been no issues with light or heat fluctuations at all, nothing that would trigger it to Hermie that I can think of which makes me think genetics are the issue. I have One other Buttercream going that was cloned before this one went into flower. If it hermies late in the bloom like this one has I will remove the strain from my rotation. I am not particularly pleased with the structure of Buttercream for scrog in any case. The plant that I took down had very large bud sites but were no where near as dense as the other strains in the tent.
