Getting very frosty and starting to smell of sweet diesel

Smooth sailing, not even into 2 weeks of flower and already throwing frost on the lowers and tops. Planning on moving the ladies, and staking some of the stalks to just get her to spread out a bit more when moved into the 3x3x6.5.

5.23 F60 5.27 F65 - Everything has been going well this week. The plants went through a feed cycle that should carry them through flower no problemo. Started with the AACT Tea, then a bokashi drench with Fish Shit from Fishheadfarms and plain water from here on out. They are drinking quite a bit. 1.5-2 gallons a plant every 3ish days. The terps in my tents smell out of this world. The ScrOG and 3x3 are like a candy store. Passion Berry has mango/guava citrus terps while Deadstar v2 has strawberry watermelon terps. The 4x5 is much more varied, but in general the sweet pink dominates with it's grape candy terps and the dread bread cuts through with it stanky gassy lemon while the prayer pupil smells like moth balls and a bit of GMO. Very lucky to get to experience this much variety. 5.29 F67

I started to stop a fertilizer, I've given a last time water + rqs tabs + sugar royal this start week. After that only Water. 2.5l/plant each 2/3 days PH@6 And will start my flush this new week. 🇺🇸 Week 9 of Growth – Mother Gorilla 🇺🇸 Hey everyone, we’re back for Week 9 of growth for the Mother Gorilla from Royal Queen Seeds. This week wasn’t great—the plant struggled to recover after the defoliation. I had major pH fluctuations all week, which really slowed down growth. Now at Week 9, I really want to switch to flowering, but the plant isn’t developing well enough. For the past three weeks, things haven’t been going smoothly, and it’s frustrating. This morning, after returning from the weekend, pH had risen to 6.4, which is way too high for hydro at this stage. So I flushed the reservoir and started fresh with a new, properly adjusted nutrient solution. I kept all the nutrients the same, and all other parameters remain unchanged. Now, my main focus this week is keeping the nutrient solution stable so the plant can resume healthy growth. Nothing else to report—just pH fluctuations and slowed growth. The plant really needs to regain strength before flowering, or it’ll be a problem. See you next week! ⸻ 🇫🇷 Semaine 9 de Croissance – Mother Gorilla 🇫🇷 Salut tout le monde, on est de retour pour la semaine 9 de croissance de la Mother Gorilla de chez Royal Queen Seeds. Cette semaine n’a pas été top, la plante a eu du mal à récupérer après la défoliation. J’ai eu de grosses fluctuations de pH toute la semaine, ce qui a ralenti la croissance. On est à 9 semaines de croissance, et j’aimerais vraiment passer en floraison, mais la plante ne se développe pas assez bien. Ça fait trois semaines que ça ne se passe pas comme prévu, et c’est frustrant. Ce matin, en rentrant du week-end, le pH était monté à 6,4, ce qui est bien trop élevé pour l’hydro à ce stade. J’ai donc vidé la soupe et préparé une nouvelle solution nutritive ajustée. J’ai gardé les mêmes nutriments, et toutes les constantes restent inchangées. Cette semaine, mon objectif est de stabiliser la solution nutritive pour que la plante puisse reprendre une bonne croissance. Rien d’autre à signaler, à part les fluctuations de pH et le ralentissement. Elle doit vraiment reprendre de la vigueur avant la floraison, sinon ça risque d’être compliqué. Die Auto Candy Bubatz ist reif für die Ernte. sie hat in der letzten heißen Woche ihre Blüten ausreifen lassen. Mit dem ersten Hochnebel des Jahres steigt auch die Schimmelanfälligkeit und somit werde ich sie heute schneiden. Der Erntebericht und weitere Fotos werden folgen. Vielen Dank an Dutch Passion, dass ich an diesem Contest teilnehmen konnte. Ich habe Einiges über Autoflowers dazugelernt, sodass mir keine mehr vollständig verschimmelt ist, was leider letztes Jahr geschehen ist. Die Bubatz riecht jetzt sehr süß, etwas minzig, würzig. Richtig super einfach war es jedoch nicht, sie durch die Schlechtwetterperiode im Sommer zu bekommen. Autoflower sind keine Selbstläufer. Ich freue mich bereits auf den ersten Genuss. Zuallererst wird ihr Duft beim Trocknen durch die Wohnung ziehen, auch bereits ein Event. --- The Auto Candy Bubatz is ready for harvest. It has allowed its flowers to mature during the last hot week. With the first high fog of the year, the susceptibility to mold also increases, so I will cut it today. The harvest report and more photos will follow. Many thanks to Dutch Passion for allowing me to participate in this contest. I learned a lot about autoflowers, so none of them got completely moldy, which unfortunately happened last year. The Bubatz now smells very sweet, a little minty, spicy. However, it wasn't really that easy to get it through the bad weather period in the summer. Autoflowers are not a sure-fire success. I'm already looking forward to enjoying them for the first time. First of all, their scent will waft through the apartment as they dry, which is an event in itself.

Really happy with how things are looking, despite expecting slightly larger buds. I think next time, I'll defoliate and lollipop a bit more to focus the plants energy on the main tops. It stinks like mint, skunk, and sweet. Really nice trichome coverage, lots of dank buds in the mix here. Even the lowers that aren't getting as much light are looking dank. I started the week out around 500ppm and steadily dropped to below 400ppm. The ppms kept creeping up every time I'd drop them...so I kept dropping them to see where it would stabilize. I ended the week at 381ppm. In preparations for harvest, I'll plan to steadily reduce the ppm to about 200ppm, rather than doing a flush with RO. I'm working with really great starting water between 50-80ppm, which absolutely requires CalMag at .5 to .75 tsp/g.

I have not been able to spend much time with the plants so was glad i found an hour to transplant them to 5g, not so excited on missing the watering on this one. LOL but she came back the next day strong as ever

The spots on one of the plants have completely disappeared. Defoliation of the 3/4 bottom leaves. Video taken on day 27 of germination, on 10/24/2025. I started fertilizers on 10/20/2025 — 800ml (Heaven 1ml, Grow 1ml). Second watering on 10/22/2025 — watering 1L (Grow 1ml, Calmag 0.6ml, Heaven 1ml). They are really very beautiful and developing very well.

On day 1 the PH of the reservoir is 6.1. I changed out my reservoir. My tallest cola is 3.25" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. I'm still getting runoff on my right plant at night maybe the low humidity drying out the pots too quick? I decided to lower the flow rate by 1 carrot (total of 2 carrots tightened since first runoff event). The leaves are starting to produce more trichomes :) On day 2 the PH of the reservoir was adjusted the PH from 6.2 to 6.1. My tallest cola is 3.25" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. I'm starting to smell terps when the leaves are rubbed it and smells good :) On day 5 I raised my reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. I increased my blumats flow by 2 carrots. I dropped my new light on my plants splitting the trunk of the right plant. I used duct tape on the wound and the plant seems okay so far. I smashed a few top colas accidentally and hope they will be OK. I have decided to install the new light after this run when there are no plants in the box. On day 6 The reservoirs PH is 6.2. I installed my new AC infinity carbon filter and increased inline airflow to keep up with smell and humidity/transpiration.. The plants are smelling very nice. The trichomes are increasing and the buds are growing in size. So far the damaged plant shows no negative consequences 😅 On day 7 the reservoirs PH was 6.0 so I adjusted it up to 6.3. I increased the flow rate of my blumat on the right plant by one more carrot bringing it back to its original state before there was a runaway. I turned off my dehumidifier and will monitor my humidity/temperatures going forward.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Hope you had a great week because these ladies sure have! 😍 They're starting to get that sweet aroma this strain gives off, her aroma will be over powering my tent in full flower. Love it! Pictures and info were taken on day 12 of flower. I put 71cm tall because that's the average between the three girls. CC 1: 78cm CC 2: 68cm CC 3: 68cm CC 1 is killing it with the double main colas. 💪 💪 🤩 CC2 is my favorite. She's got a perfect shape, nice evenly distributed canopy. Took LST great. For me that's the goal when I do LST. CC3 doesn't fall behind in any way, she's looking great. There's a bunch of new growth everywhere so after 21 days i'll be doing some pretty heavy selective defoliation. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. They've got a lovely green lush color. It's a delight growing this strain. I'll have to get me some more seeds for next run because this is a strain that will always have a spot in my garden. 😍 😍 Hope you enjoyed this week's update and stay tuned for next week. Not much to report pretty straightforward process. Every 3 days top off with 33% strength to keep ppm up. I tried going lower on the ppms but they just didn't like it. These girls are definitely heavy feeders. I don't plan on doing a res change until absolutely necessary. Save money on fertilizer
