What a week, So I did a run off test end of last week and they was really high, but I would like to address the DNA Mills cork as I am using this in just one pot (A) to try it out I used 3/4 (B) to my normal coco in another pot 50:50 (C) in another at a 1/4 (D) then when just my normal coco mix ( E) and I havent seen much difference other then the retention of water... UNTILL NOW. So evaluating all my reading I have from run off this is how it WAS sitting running water with an EC 0.7 Ms/cm A - 2.4 Ms/cm B - 2.3 Ms/cm C - 2.0 Ms/cm D - 1.9 Ms/cm E - 1.5 Ms/cm So my conclusion is that I dont like the cork maybe I'm using it wrong somehow I dont know but in my experience, it seems to be grabbing hold of all the salts and not letting go, so this week I ran litres and litres of water through them to bring them down I can only get A down to 1.4 Ms/cm and am struggling to get it any further down does anyone have any suggestions. As for the deficiency I was supposed to I produce the PK booster beginning of this week and couldn't with the run off being so high, well that's what I'm hoping anyways 😂. Plant A doesn't seem to be swelling like the rest (front left in pictures) I'm hoping this is down to genetics if anyone else has any thought I'd love to hear them. Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Note: Pest/Mould check done. Foliar sprayed with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) @ coolest part of day - Next day applied high alkalinity ph'd water to kill mildew spores - Fan heater running from 03:30AM - 06:00AM, pulsing/regulating temp at 19-21°C [ until light comes on ] Grow Logging Light Distance From Canopy = 65cm Substrate Temp = 16 C Substrate PH = 6.0 Normal - Moist Level 79cm = Scrog Net Height 95cm = Tree Height PPFD = 20.1 C = Tent 45% RH

So since I had the mold and bud rot problems I had to divide my schedule of harvest and divide the product as well. - Healthy buds are ones belonging to branches where there are no signs of rot/mold. -Mid-healthy buds are untouched by disease but still belonging to a branch where there was some disease. -Last category are the salvaged ones, where I cut them from bigger buds that had disease or they were in some part affected. These 3 categories each have their own drying space and where harvested in this order to prevent spreading of spores and stuff. For the salvaged buds every time I removed a part with disease I cleaned the scissors with alcohol. I only removed the sun-leaves + penguin leaves and will be doing a dry trim for the sugar leaves later on.

3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. Not much else at this stage, just I topped a little and I defoliated a little. 3/29/2023 Week 6- Day 5 of Veg (Day 56 overall) Topped a little, Defoliated a little Watched them grow!! 3/30/2023 Week 6- Day 6 of Veg (Day 57 Overall) Main action today was breaking down my old tent and setting up a new tent and getting my second RDWC system setup and ready for clones. I Topped a little, I Defoliated some and started taking a good look at what I would like to take for clones in the coming days. I have a few bottom branches that look every promising for my clone material on each. 3/31/2023 Week 6- Day 7 of Veg (Day 58 overall) #3 is at 16" Tall #2 is at 13" Tall

She took 5 days to germinate!! Day 1 - Mon 8th March She has sprouted but still has a helmet. Will give a few more days to see if she breaks free herself if not I’ll give her some help!! 🍁🍁 Very happy to have her sprout though I was getting worried!! Day 2 - Tue 9th March She’s managed to break free from her casing with a little help from me. Gave her a little more water and her leaves are starting to open. Day 3 - Wed 10th March Looking this morning she is growing but she has white on one leaf. She’s also wrapped her self in a clear substance not too sure what that could be? Any thoughts? Tried to get pictures best I could. Happy growing! Day 4 - Thursday 11th March (Her nick name is Nemo) so from the pictures you’ll see she’s got an underdeveloped leaf but aside from this she is growing well. Lovely big chunky lady. 80ccm across colas that are thick as a babies arm.. and a delightfully zesty sweet smell when she wobbles in the breeze. My queen this run for sure. Such an imposing girl... Feeds are down to 1.6ec as I remove the more pk from her diet. She just gets greenbuzz nutrients organic bloom for the duration now. Lights are at 60% giving 1100umols average across the canopy. Just a pleasure to grow.. Thanks for passing. Grow well 🌿💚🌿🙏🏼

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. So I don’t do nothing to it, I drink it:) Thanks for the view 🤜 Have a great week!

Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!
