Day 65 in Flowering: Almost Harvest Time Yo Farmers, Today marks day 65 in the flowering stage, which is right at the 9-week mark. I started the flush on day 55 and was aiming to harvest around now. However, I'm going to give her another day or two to see if the rest of the pistils turn brown. She smells incredible and looks frosty, throughout the flush I’ve managed to get the PPMS down to 40ppm (hannah), She’s also showing some nice fall colors, indicating the breakdown of nutrients, salts, and excess chlorophyll Overall, I’m pleased with my first attempt at growing this plant. My tiny potter is doing pretty good. It is a hard grow with the plant this size. The window for ph error is very small since it dries the potter out in a few hours. It is very root bound, and drainage is very slow. I been feeding 2 to 3 times a day if I get the chance. I got a little nute burn when I increased nutrition a little too early. The twin tops might of gotten too close to the light as it stretched. Regardless it's looking pretty good for a tiny potter. She is bulking now, still under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. nothing much else to report. Hi all, Welcome to my🍌💜👊 week update Thank you so much for all support on this bananas journey. Much appreciate all your likes, follows and comments. 🙏💚❤️💜 Week 14 Jan 15- Jan 21 Flushing and preparation for harvest 😁 on Jan 15 feed girls for the last time with nutrients. It was reduced dose by 60% 5ltr no runoff. Following morning topped up with 6ltr of ph down and only fish shit. Runoffs PH 6.2. Second watering Jan 18 6tr and 7ltr on Jan 21. It was last watering. Week went very well. No white pistils hairs on Athena for a good while and barely few left on Xena. Many buds have different shapes and colours but all of them are equally hard as rocks, sticky and smelling so deliciously. This week trichomes development was just like I wish for. Just milky and amber in play Status on Jan 22. Mostly of buds 20-50% amber. It's just perfect for my needs🤤 On Jan 21 lights were on for the last time and girls will be harvested after 48 or 72h of darkness. Stay tuned for the final week update! Hey folks. The first set of uploads for this week was taken on Wednesday. Super heavy defoilation done. Lots of excess growth under the main conopy so I lollipoped them. In total between the 4 plants I estimate about a 1lb worth of leaves! She's a bushy plant so I got to keep her in check. Regular watering of 40mL of molassas to 19L of dechlorinated h2o. Also did a bit of lst with wires, binder slips n the 3d printed clips you see in the photos. Work great and its opening up the canopy wide. I can already count more than 15+ potential main cola sites. Not sure how much for i can make befor flowing which starts mid August for us. I may have to starting thinking about when to apply our second round of top dress. I may start to feed her with higher ratios of the bloom amendments. Also a note. Watering with molasses is a new thing for me and it seems to work wonders with a organic grow since you are feeding the microbiology which in turns feeds the plant roots with co2 and organic ions. Pretty cool to see the plant respond well to the carbs added via watering. Another note to mention is I'm starting to notice some gnats hanging around the topsoil. I do belive the molasses sugars are attracting the critter which is bad! I have been combating them by spraying thr topsoil with neem oil. 1tbs per quart of warm water and 10 drops of non-posphate dish soap to act as a wetting agent. (Helps the neem oil dissolve into the water). I have been applying the solution to the top soil every 3-4 days and have notice a significant decrease in gnats flying around and the plant doesn't seem to mind it at all. I'm just hoping it helps kill the gnat worms if they did lay any eggs into the soil. Hope you guys enjoy this one.

everything turned out very well :) and it's only with 50w and with 40x40cm space :) It was an interesting journey with her, a slightly different cultivation and old mistakes were discovered :) the flowers are not dense, but they are really very, very sticky :) I'm happy:)

Everything went smoothly. Just have a little bit of water around the root every other day or so. Gradually giving more as it grew and the soil dried out.

Perfect to this point dense even colas. Smelling great covered in 💎 last week has been compost teas last one given today. Only water for the next 7-10 and nothing after that till harvest besides 36hr of darkness Home stretch time

DAY 14 VEG. Hi growmies. I hope the green gods have been present in your grows this week. It has been a fairly good week for some of the girls this week but the tiny little Mexican airline had me convinced it would give in. Thankfully she hasn't and has now started to really begin growing with some healthy looking new growth pushing through in the last few days. Similar with the Strawberry Pie #2 and her toxic shocked look , she has got over the soils strength ow j think and begun to form normal leaves without the twist and darker colour ( clear sign of not liking something!) All of the plants have settled in fully now and the soil has started to work its magic hopefully. Trying to get the water cycle on point is the next task with it. I have been using 10L watering sessions to get it moist and will use a cheap soil probe to check the bottom for waterlogging . Next watering I will add the biosys tea again to support the soil life. The amendments should have all broken down nicely now so it is just watering from here in in hopefully. With ising 1 bed for 3 plants , I will be watching for the leaf green shade lightening , especially in flowering , and if needed use Megacrop as an additional feed. At this point it looks like the Strawberry Pie #1 and six Shooter #2 are leading the field but I get the feeling this light will help even that race quick sharp. I have now put it to 100% power as I do think these ladies will go for it this week now. No decision on the training yet but in will let their growth guide that one . TIP SPREADING I am using a method I learnt about a while back called tip spreading. It is a very simple process but can be very helpful if trying to control height in minutes spaces. It can also help to lessen the gap lengths between nodes on leggy strains. It is by no means a guarantee that the tall sativas will become bonsai bushes by a long shot but it does help to shorten the gaps there too. It is done while the plants are in veg and as each new pair of leaves form on the grow tips , we gently open them out so that the new emerging below gets light to it . This will encourage it to grow out quicker than waiting until the previous node has gone through the slower process of opening naturally. We are essentially rushing their growth for them. They are very delicate at this stage so it is a gentle process that must be done with a lot of caution and a slow pace. Hopefully the video will help and the effects will be shown during the growth over the next few days/weeks. Be safe growmies.

Ok had a lot going on this week with various issues affecting plants in flower tent but managed to take few pics and keep u guys updated on this grow feel free to comment or give me any advise I'm a newby out of his debth

8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. STOPPED AFTER GETTING MY TIRES PUT ON AND DAD SAID THE LITTLE PLANT IN THE 5 GAL BUCKET IS DROOPING. I WENT BACK AND OF COURSE IT WAS. I WATERED THAT AND THE ONE IN THE TEN AND THE 50 AS IT LOOKED DROOPY. 10 GOT A HALF GALLON AS IT WAS DRYING UP AND ITS GOING TO BE HOT TOMORROW TOO. NOT 90S PROBABLY 80S AT MOST BUT STILL. EVERYTHING GOT A QT EXCEPT THE 10 GOT HALF A QT. THE 50 GOT SLIGHTLY MORE. A fucking chipmunk ran in my garden when the door was open. He was going fast and I couldn't find him. I looked under the pallets the entire length. Hopfully he just ran out of a hole or up the fence. I'm going to get an air horn and blow it inside the cage. I need to get some zip ties and do a little rearranging before I setup the other supports for flower. Suprisingly the plantvin the 50 went from the furthest from flower to having little budlets on it. Can't be an auto or I think it would've flowered already. 8/12 Ending of the lions gate portal. Everything looked good this morning. The one in the 5gal was removed until I figure out its issue or trash it. The yield would be less than a branch anyway. Probably chronic underwatering. The 10 was bone dry despite the 3in of rain. Some bags seemed light. Looked at last years diary and went with my intuition. WATERED TODAY. Gave everything a gallon. I moved the event horizon to where the 5gal bucket wad and STARTED reorganizing to use the most of my space. I gotta pick up some zip ties and finish the supports but I'm happy. Plants look happy. Not as tall as last year but they are SUPER bushy. I'm going to have to open some up and spread the branches. I'll keep this updated. WENT OVER AROUND THREE. I CHECKED OUT THE LITTLE PLANT AND NOTICED MULTIPLE BUDSUTES DIEING. I ALSO SAW WHAT "COULD'VE" BEEN A MALE PREFLOWER. MY INTUITION TOLD ME TO GET RID OF IT. ITS LESS THAN A BRANCH OFF THE CROP IT COULD HARM. LUCKILY I HAD BAGGED IT UP BEFORE IT BEIBG REMOVED AND IT WAS FAIRLY WELL SEPERATED. AFTER CUTTING AND DISPOSING OF IT I BROUGHT THE BUCKET TO EMPTY. IT WAS EXTREMELY ROOTBOUND. THE ROOTS WERE WHITE EXCEPT THE ONES ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH WERE A NEON GREEN. THE INSIDE OF THE BUCKET HAD WHAT LOOKED LIJE GREEN ALGAE ON IT. I IMAGINE THAYS PROBABLY WHERE MY PROBLEMS CAME FROM. I'VE USED THIS BUCKET SECERAL TIMES AND IVE SEEN TJIS TYPE OF ALGAE BUT USUALLY ONCE I SANITIZE ITS GOOD TO GO. IM NOT SURE IF IT WAS BEING ROOTBOUND OR THE ALGAE THAT DID IT IN BUT I HAVE MUCH BETTER SPACING NOW. THIS WAS THE RIGHT DECISION. I COULDNT BEAR THE RHOUGHT OF MY GIRLS GETTING POLLINATED. I have the materials to finish final supports. I've just got to do it. Same with the BT spray. I'm thinking I should've upped the water to a gallon and a half or two but I'll do that next time I guess. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do.
