July 6: peak growing season now and I expect she’ll be growing about an inch per day here for the next couple of weeks. Weather should be perfect and just have to dodge the thunderstorms. Started another lazy compost tea. Cheers to all growers. 👍 July 7: mild defoliation done over this last week to let light in to the growth tips. Water only as a light flush. July 8: definitely fast growth and looking very dark green but hopefully not too much N. Watered in evening with lazy compost tea. This lazy compost tea is just a 5 gallon (20 L pail) with couple handfuls of mature compost, some molasses, some humic acids and kelp, Dr Bronners peppermint soap as a surfactant (or wetting agent) and vinegar to get pH near 7. Then it’s all left in the shade for about 24-48 hours with the occasional stir. Alternately you could just use Recharge which is made from bacteria, molasses and humic acids. Super easy either way. July 10: added a couple handfuls of malted barley as a top dressing. This is a top organic growing tip from Clackamas Coot. Just get some from a local brew shop which should have a variety of malted grains. Cheap stuff is fine. I’ll add some Power Bloom next week but I figured the barley is good enough for now. Now 25 inches so she grew 6 inches in 4 days. Good times. Good times.

Running for 2 more day then 48 hrs darkness. Had to set a portable ac to bring temperature down this week getting way to hot. Not quite where I would like it but averaging around 7 degrees cooler.

She’s started to actually grow now not getting stunted by slugs. Put down some organic slug pellets and some copper tape to try keep them off. Just have plenty of plain water this week. Will top her again this week and try get her bushed out. Not had much sun this past week or 2 hoping it comes out these coming weeks before any flowering. Wanting a monster this year. That’s all this week, happy growing 🌱

They bounced back great after breaking some necks, I’ll add one more layer of trellis a foot above each of these to seperate new growth but otherwise we just let it ride to harvest from here. Adding mammoth microbes at .6 ml/gal also. For veg just use b1/b2 at 5g/gal same for clones. Start microbes with clones through flower.

After nutrition lockout for about more than a week,8 and a half hours without oxygen because the fan stopped working at night so I notice it in the morning,EVERY PLANT IS STILL ALIVE,I give her a good flush and she is looking much better and much fatter

But above all we got a chance to see the genetics that made the difference on who we decided to keep this run and who didn’t make it. Another week for this SOG of Auto's from our friends fastbuds, at the moment they are doing great, i do notice that some genetics required less food than others (they all got the same amount but some showed signs of N toxicity last weeks) At the moment we noticed the stretch and we needed to put the lamp higher, we are growing with a TS1000 at the moment and things are looking good 😊

D43/V39 - 13/05/23 - Changed water , added nutes until EC=0.9 D44/V40 - 14/05/23 - Defolation - Added water EC= 1.1 pH 6.5 D45/F01 - 15/05/23 - Start flowering. Monitoring water from maximum to above, for the week out D46/F02 - 16/05/23 - Continuing LST. I watered with dechlorinated ph adjusted water when the soil was dry and decided to harvest on day 80. I harvested on day 80 and now the plants are hanging upside down in my tent. My inline fan is running on 25% and I got a fan running on the lowest setting on the bottom of the tent, so I doesnt blow on the buds directly.

So we're in week 3 veg , they've mostly outgrown their mutated leaves now and looking strong.

11/30-12/5: Major stretch from the Muscadine Wine's and one of the Sucrose Overdose. I supercropped and tied down the apex on the big SO and I'll probably have to supercrop both MW's before it's over. The Platonium and GG4 aren't stretching vertically nearly as quickly, but have massive leaves and huge diameters (problem children). Sugar Bref is a shorty, like the Berry Bomb, but both have very thick stalks and may, yet, do some stretching. Both MW's and the big SO not only have red stems, but they have red leaf veins and the outer edges of the fan leaves have a nice pale-green to red gradient coloration....swexy!😍
