Fruity Pebbles autoflower is finishing up. I just switched her to ph water today. She will be harvested in about a week. She has already started consuming her extra stored energy days ago. It looks like some good flower. Still growing like a beast. I did raise the light a little. I feel like the taller one that got fed BLOOM at the beginning of the week is a bit darker green than the other one. It also showed a slight amount of possible N burn/deficiency on a couple of leaves. Everything else is looking great. I did try to adjust some of the tie downs a little to open her up a bit more

The purple lemonade auto is growing better its looking good the gorilla glue auto isnt showing any sign of preflower yet im starting to think it may be a photoperiod plant .The gorilla glue auto still isn't showing any sign of preflower yet i dont know what to do i don't want to go to a 12/12 because i dont want to stuff up my purple auto thats in flower

Как я не пытался гровить на расслабоне, растение заставляет немного понервничать - 46 день от каски, не зацвело😵. К тому же появились признаки передозировки азотом. Пару проливов сделаю без базовых удобрений, а затем снижу дозу до половины табличного значения AN. 👉Но есть и хорошие новости - наконец установил досвет низов по периметру. Пока еще рано судить об эффективности этого апгрейда, но смотрится круто 😎 Спасибо, что заглянули, и будьте здоровы! 🙏 Продолжение следует ...😶

Started to have problems with insects munching on the leaves, I applied trifecta and insecticidal soap simultaneously so they do not get used to one or the other and it has seemed to stop their destruction for now. Will continue to apply one a week as a preventative measure. Have not given the plants any nutrients up to this point since they have not shown any problems during growth

Hello everyone, The plants are healthy and looking good. This week i started to add pk 13/14 to the reservoir 12ml to 50 liter reversed osmose water and lowered canna coco a&b to 120ml per 50 liter. The water runoff is 600 ppm so no salt buildup in the soil for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice week.

May 24, 2024 Day 99 This is the last week for these ladies. They have until the end of this week and then harvest no matter what. I'd much prefer to harvest them sooner, but I don't have space in my dry tent. It's only a 2x2 and the Tropicana Cookies just finished up and will be in there for about 7 days. Banana Purple Punch A needs a half gallon of water today. She's not done yet and she's all dried up. So I'll give her that half gallon of plain water today PHed to 6.1 and that's it. She should be dry again in a week. I'll be checking trichomes today as well. I'll update when I finish up. Banana Purple Punch B is amazing. She smells wonderful and now with the Tropicana Cookies out of the tent, her aroma can shine. Wow. I'll be checking trichomes as well today. She also finished up her reservoir but she's still pretty moist. It must have emptied yesterday. This may last the week. I'll need a few days for her to dry out as well. So I might have to add a bit more water. Maybe a quarter gallon? Just enough for her to last the rest of the week. I'll see how she is tomorrow. The environment is still a bit wonky. The humidity is still in the mid 50's% with the temp being around 73°. It's currently at 76° and 57% humidity. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.2° RH: 56.7% VPD: 1.17 kPa May 25, 2024 It's rainy today and naturally, the humidity in my room is stupid high. So in the tent the humidity is back to 60%. I'll be opening the tent door again every couple of hours today. Banana Purple Punch A is starting to look like a hot mess. Tops are starting to flop over and there's a super weird fade going on. Leaves that just curled up and turned super dead yellow. Some of the leaves are showing purple, and the tops are getting purple hues. Still a bit of a mess. Banana Purple Punch B is getting more and more purple. Her leaves are starting to lighten up as well. We can certainly see the start of the fade. The tops have nearly all purple sugar leaves. The buds are still pretty green. I wonder how it works with this one. We shall see over the next 6 days. I might have to add a half gallon of water to her reservoir. She's already a bit too dry to last the week. So I'll do that later today I think. Maybe first thing tomorrow. Harvest time is 6 days away now. Both ladies are looking super close to being done. Hell, I may even go past the ideal time by a couple days. That's perfectly fine. I could use a good sedative. The environment is back to being an absolute mess. The temp is at 75°, which is fine. But the humidity is back up to 60%. Hopefully I can get the humidity to drop a bit. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 55.1% VPD: 1.30 kPa May 26, 2024 These 2 are shaping up to be some heavy yielders. Both have massive buds and are on their way to being fully done. Another 5 days I think and they will be ready for harvest. However, I may have to keep them in there for a few extra days. The Tropicana Cookies in the dry tent are taking a bit longer to dry than I anticipated. Banana Purple Punch A looks great. I ended up using a piece of a plant tie to prop up one of the most leaning tops. Looks great now. Much more light penetration to the lowers. Banana Purple Punch B is absolutely amazing right now. MASSIVE buds that weigh a whole lot. She finally has a distinct purple look to her. And it's just getting more and more purple. When she is done, I believe she will have some beautiful foliage and lots of dark purple leaves. She got about 1/3 of a gallon of water today to the reservoir. She was dry and she has much too long to go before she should be that dry. The leaves are all starting to turn a bright green and fading into deep purples and yellows with orange. Fall foliage indeed. I'll also be doing a full defoliation in 3 days I think. I want to clear as much foliage as I can before wet trimming. It doesn't seem as though wet trimming will be all that bad. There's sugar leaves, but they are big instead of plentiful. So it should be pretty quick. Drying may pose an issue. If the humidity keeps up like this, I'll have a lot of trouble keeping it below 62% in the dry tent. We have a few days left anyway, so maybe it will go back down by then. The light is the same. I did take the DLI today and the average is about 40 mol/m²/d, so that's fine. I'd much rather it be closer to 36 mol/m²/d, but then it would interrupt the Sour Diesels in the tent that just started to flower. The environment is really off today. It's super humid out and it's showing and killing my good vibes. The temp is a bit low at 73°. I would prefer it to be 75° during the day. It helps with all the plants in the tent. Oh well not won't stay low for long. It should start to creep up later today. The humidity is still super high at 63% today. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 60.9% VPD: 1.15 kPa May 27, 2024 Both ladies got a half gallon in their reservoirs today. Both were way too dry for now, sona half gallon should last them at least the night. Just 4 more days and we can harvest. Unless this humidity doesn't let up, then I have to wait even longer for the Tropicana Cookies to dry. AND risk mold! Damn it! Banana Purple Punch A is starting to get floppy. I hooked some of the tops to each other so they will stand. A couple outer branches were starting to fall as well, so the were also tied up. Hopefully that solves the issue for the next 4 days. Maybe 5 or even 6 now. Too long in my opinion. She doesn't have much in terms of fading but it's starting at least. Her leaves are all messed up. So I'm not bothering with the fade honestly. If she fades, she fades. I'll be defoliating in 2 days anyway. Then wet trimming, so the leaves aren't really a thing to bother with now. She also has lowers with white pistils. They are developed, but the pistils are still white. Those are going to change in. Matter of days. Banana Purple Punch B is shaping up to be the best plant of this run. She's actually the shortest, but has the best structure and the most solid buds and a lot of them. She's also doing quite well in her final days. Her leaves are turning dark purple with the lowers turning bright green. She got a quarter gallon of water yesterday and drank it up almost immediately. I think I'll have to keep her watered for the next couple of days. She will certainly dry out quickly when I stop watering, so I think she will only need a couple days to fully dry out. Currently, she is about 34% soil moisture content. Not bad at all. It might go up to 45% with the half gallon, but no higher. I haven't done trichomes in a few days. I may get a video in today or tomorrow. Both plants could use a good viewing. Not that it matters, as I have to schedule my harvest, regardless of doneness. But we'll check them for science. The environment is back to being the bane of my existence. Seriously, it's driving me insane. So the humidity is WAY up at 65% with the temp being around 74°. It's horrible. I really don't want to keep opening the tent. It just takes away precious light space. The average night temp was also high at 70° with the humidity still being up at 64% I have no idea how these ladies haven't gotten bid rot or mold. Maybe it's because it's like a wind tunnel in there. Exhaust on full power, two 6 inch oscillating clip fans facing each other. There's no space untouched by some sort of airflow. It's not a heavy wind, but like a light breeze. Update: I finally took some trichome videos and was a bit surprised at what I found. Both plants have tons of cloudy barely any clear and a good amount of amber. The extra 4 to 6 days may be a bit too long. We shall see. Some of the lowers still have white pistils and only have amber trichomes on the leaves. So there's time for them to finish up. We'll see how this works out. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 60.8% VPD: 1.11 kPa May 28, 2024 Very late entry today. I was quite busy wet trimming Banana Purple Punch A for the chop. Yep, you heard it. The chop. One of the Tropicana Cookies finished drying today and I thought it was time to harvest her. So she got a full wet trim and is hanging in the dry tent. She weighs in at a total of 22.26 oz wet hang. She has heavy buds, so the weight retention should be impressive. Maybe 5 oz? Maybe 4. Not bad. Banana Purple Punch B will be harvested when the last Tropicana Cookies is done. That should be in about 4 to 5 days. Currently I have her moved to the back of the tent with the Sour Diesels taking over the rest. She looks great. More and more purple. The environment is still crazy. Super high humidity and nothing I can do about it. I've tried AC, no AC and just started the heater. Something has to work. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 63.2% VPD: 0.98 kPa May 29, 2024 Nothing to do today. Banana Purple Punch A is on her first day of drying and I expect it to take 10 to 14 days based on the current environment in the dry tent. I did put a dehumidifier in there to help clear it out. It won't be permanent. Just until I can get the humidity back down to 60%. Then it will come out and go back in the 3x3. This will then help regulate the humidity for Banana Purple Punch B. Banana Purple Punch B looks great! She will be harvested whenever the dry tent has a free spot. Should be in about 4 to 6 days, unless the humidity drops below 60% and then maybe 3, but I doubt it. I also finally was able to take her off the risers and it worked a charm. The Sour Diesels in the tent aren't being overshadowed anymore and she is at a perfect light distance. With the drop of the risers, the canopy DLI is now 38 mol/m²/d. Over the next few days, it should make the buds even more purple and dense. The 3x3 environment is around 63% and at 73°. Still super high. The dehumidifier should start working soon. We will see a small drop in humidity. Maybe a jump in temp, but I need to get the humidity down somehow. The temp is nice and low for this lady, but not great for the other plants. I'd rather it be around 75° or even better 74.5°. Because I was able to remove the risers from Banana Purple Punch B, I finally could lower the light for the Sour Diesels. The DLI is at 38 mol/m²/d with the power at 60%. Looking great! Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.3° RH: 63.2% VPD: 1.01 kPa May 30, 2024 Lots to do today. Well, this afternoon. I finally pulled the final Tropicana Cookies out of the dry tent and now it's ready for Banana Purple Punch B. I may actually leave her in the dark for a day or 2 just under her sister plant that is currently drying. Banana Purple Punch A is enjoying her second day of drying. It's actually a bit dry in the tent now. A good day out. But a bit too dry for a solid week. It should increase when I put her sister in the tent. She still has a good way to go. Maybe another 8 days if I can push it that far. Banana Purple Punch B will be getting fully defoliated this afternoon. Then I think I'll put her in the dry tent for a day or 2. A nice dark period to stress her out a bit. Not to mention it will increase the humidity a bit in there as well. I'll do a full wet trim in a day or 2 when she is done with the dark period. It should also give her time to fully dry out her container. And give a final push in trichome production. I'm not going to bother with the environment today. It won't matter until tomorrow. Esta planta es una bestia en todos los sentidos.. con minimos cuidados preventivos, es literalmente del ataque de araña que he tenido en el armario, se centro sobre todo en las feminizadas pequeñas (ya controladas) y en dos autos (en proceso de control xD) a esta planta no le he visto ni una hoja mal, luego por bocachancla tendré los cogollos todos llenos de telarañas, pero a priori nada de eso, fuertisima y robusta como ella sola, aguanta las plagas y problemas de maravilla, esta y la purple sunset xxl son las que menos señales de sobre fertilización muestran! De verdad que con esta variedad en especifico, ya no se tanto si este fenotipo o en si la variedad que han logrado estabilizar, pero si fuese una feminizada SABE DIOS QUE LE SACABA SEMILLAS HASTA POR LAS OREJAS! Un pto Titán de planta xD Luego sobre ella, cogollos muy gordos, sin contar la purple sunset que va una semana atrasada con respecto a estas, es la de los cogollos mas gordos, muuuucha resina y un proceso de cultivo aparentemente muuy rapido... Quiero pensar que le queda un mes entero aun para poder hacerle chupar de las hojas al maximo para el lavado de raices... Pero me temo que en 2 semanas y media o así tenga que cortarla. Por si las moscas, entre el domingo y el lunes le hice el ultimo riego de fertilización, ya a partir de hoy o ya mañana por la mañana solo aguita con flush, enzym y calmag si toca.

[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

I DID A PREVENTATIVE SPRAY OF BT THIS WEEK BUT I DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY WHICH DAY. I THINK I MIXED AT 3 OR 4 TBSP GALLON WITH SOME DAWN. BONIDE BRAND THURACIDE. 8/30 Fed two gallons to the garden. Watered before and after the feed. Defoliated what was dead. Its scary seeing so many leaves go but energy is shifted to the buds. Buds are ripening but on one mislabeled mystery seed and the wedding cake they look far behind the rest. Wondering how they could possibly finish in the 6 to 8 weeks I have left. If needed I MAY be able to put something in the garage at night. I'd have to RIP the bag out of the ground though which wouldn't be good. I mean some of the plants are pushing ten feet but we use it for heavy equipment. So foggy this morning. Horrible weather. Still fighting PM, possible lockout and ear wigs. We will see how it goes. I'll continue weekly treatment for the pm and I'll find something for the earwigs. I'm hesitant to use the Spinosid in flower. 8/31 Rained last night. Surprise, surprise. Talked to a few other growers and consulted my last year's diary. I had a couple early pheno's last year but things seem on schedule. It's amazing the amount of growth that can happen in a day. Even my ice cream cake has small flowers. Time is running short. Probably six to eight weeks max growing time left. I hope everything finished up nicely. I need to continue monitoring PM and pests. Considering spraying preventative BT tonight. Yesterday I saw the biggest pile of powder mildew and leaf septoria on a tree an hour from my grow. It literally looked like snow flakes on leaves then someone dumped a bag of flour on it. This gives me some perspective and gratitude that the TINY spots I'm treating could be much worse. Weekly treatments until harvest. Hopefully BT or diy green cleaner tonight for earwigs and worms (if they are there). 9/1 Watered thoroughly. Leaves still yellowing. I hope it's senescence. Still need to continue treatments with BT and potassium bicarbonate. Sunny day but rain tonight. Need to add more supports for heavy branches. Will update as I go. 9/2 Rained all night and it's still raining. I'll update when the rain stops. Went back over and added a couple higher supports and defoliated a shit ton. Spent two hours in the garden last night. Too tired for pictures. 9/3 Fed two gallons to the garden and upped Kool bloom to a full tablespoon. I'm thinking about using beastie bloom then cha ching as I have them both. I'm a little hesitant. Wondering what others thoughts are on those products. I plan to spray either tonight or tomorrow with another helping of potassium bicarbonate to help with the WPM. To be honest it seems to work great. I just don't want to go overboard. I wish you guys could smell the pictures. Shits getting fun now. 9/4 Had a torrential rain storm with massive wind. No damage. Buds are getting huge. Had to add a few more supports this morning as branches were hanging. If I had room I'd do a second vertical trellis. Unfortunately I do not. I AM able to run string across the cage though which really helps things higher up. I need to put some pictures of my stalks. Legit bigger than soda cans. I wish you guys could smell my pictures. Re-checked all cameras and everything is working good. On high alert. I'd be very surprised if anyone even attempted to rob me but you never know. That's why it's 24/7 supervision until Croptober. 9/5 Lots of sun yesterday but if course it rained last night. Buds are progressing at a rapid rate. Leaves seem to be dropping to soon on the blueberries. I need to do another potassium bicarbonate treatment tonight. Branches are really getting heavy. I'm hoping all this rain doesn't cause bud rot but so far so good.

Turned off IR @ nights Red wigglers (Eisenia fetida) are highly beneficial. They are considered an ideal choice for "no-till" or container-based organic growing because they live in the upper layers of soil, feeding on organic mulch rather than the plant's root system. Red wigglers accelerate the breakdown of organic amendments and produce high-quality, nutrient-dense worm castings directly in the root zone. Clover is another exceptional component of an organic rhizosphere, offering a sustainable, self-sustaining alternative to synthetic nitrogen fertilizers produced via the energy-intensive Haber-Bosch process. By forming a symbiotic relationship with Rhizobia bacteria, clover converts atmospheric nitrogen N2 into ammonium NH4, providing a steady, slow-release nutrient source that enhances soil health and reduces environmental impacts. Red clover offers superior nitrogen fixation and biomass production compared to white or yellow clover, making it the premier choice for maximum soil vitality, particularly for improving soil structure and providing a high-volume nitrogen credit for subsequent crops. If it is fully functional and efficient soil, the rhizophagy cycle is far superior long-term than any synthetic delivery when it comes to preventing deficiencies, not because it's "better," per se. The medium will require a very high CEC to make it to harvest without re-fertilization. The rhizosphere acts as a dynamic, interactive exchange where plants and soil microbes trade resources based on immediate needs. When a plant lacks a specific nutrient, it changes its physiology and releases specialized chemical cocktails—root exudates—into the surrounding soil. These exudates, which include sugars, amino acids, and organic acids, serve as a "shopping list" to attract specific microorganisms, which in turn return higher levels of desired nutrients. There is nothing in comparison to synthetic delivery, which causes plants to stop producing exudates, effectively "starving" the beneficial soil life, over time turning the soil barren and void of microbial life. Responsible use, applying the right amount at the right time, can minimize these negative effects. Relying solely on synthetic fertilizers without replenishing organic matter is what typically leads to exhausted soil. The use of synthetic fertilizers can utilize the Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) of the soil, but without a robust rhizosphere and active microorganisms, the efficiency of this process is significantly reduced. This makes synthetic growing more difficult to prevent deficiencies overall compared to an efficient organic living soil with a robust rhizophagy cycle, as there is no "one size, fits all" when it comes to different nutrient profiles of strains/genetics, making it trickier to "guess" and prevent creeping deficiencies. CEC does not contribute towards EC. Add more CEC using biochar, problem solved. If you keep pH between 6.3 and 6.7, hydrogen is exudated to cycle the medium's CEC for its needs. Keeping the pH between 6.3 and 6.7 creates an environment where plants release H+ to displace positively charged nutrients (like Ca2+, Mg2+, K+ held on soil particles or within artificial media this cycle through nutrients via the medium's Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) Microorganisms generate a stable potential of approximately 0.5 V EC. The rhizosphere creates its own food, similarly to chelation, using 1000's of varying combinations to create its own food. Start to finish, just add water. Eventually, more materials will need to be added at the beginning of each new grow, but very attainable to go from seed to harvest without ever fertilizing, regenerative cultivation. ATP is king above all else when it comes to biomass accumulation. Cellular root respiration and cellular respiration are essentially the same biological process, the breakdown of glucose to create usable energy (ATP) in the presence of oxygen, just taking place in different parts of the plant. Synthetic (salt-based) grows have significantly lower levels of total rhizosphere respiration, often referred to as root-zone activity, compared to organic living soil grows. While the plant roots themselves may respire in both systems, the surrounding soil ecosystem in a living soil setup is vastly more active, teeming with bacteria, fungi, and beneficial microorganisms. 2 pools of ATP, it won't double in growth buuuut, but improving root respiration by ensuring high oxygen in the soil is crucial. Good aeration ensures roots can fully utilize glucose to generate the ATP necessary for nutrient uptake, leading to healthier and more productive plants, even if growth isn't exactly doubled. The ATP created using root respiration is dedicated to rootzone growth; the ATP created using regular cellular respiration in a synthetic system would have to dedicate a lot of ATP to the roots when there is little or no root respiration. It's true that there is less of an initial ATP cost in breakdown when nutrients are already in their final form (synthetic), but you lose a solid chunk of ATP when the entire plant is reliant on cellular respiration alone; a large portion of ATP is dedicated to root zones for "forced" (active) nutrient uptake. Making it overall less efficient, even if the initial cost of breakdown is higher. If that makes sense. Oxygen is of critical importance when growing in living soil compared to synthetic methods because it supports the metabolic needs of the microbial, fungal, and insect ecosystem, rather than just the root respiration required by the plant itself. While synthetic grows can survive in lower-oxygen environments with precise mineral feeding, living soil systems rely on aerobic microbes to decompose organic matter (microbial mineralization) to create plant-available nutrients, which is an oxygen-intensive process. While a specific fair percentage is difficult to guess, my experience points to a massive, compound difference between the two methods and the amount of oxygen required. All the ATP spared is used on more biomass, not only that, but the extra root respiration can achieve a much higher CO2 compensation point naturally than you could with synthetic and atmospheric CO2 alone. As a plant grows faster and increases in size, its demand for nutrients to support that growth increases, requiring a higher rate of nutrient uptake. As plants enter phases of rapid vegetative/floral growth, their metabolic demand for nutrients increases exponentially. Without a robust buffer zone—whether in the soil (cation exchange capacity) or in a hydroponic reservoir—deficiencies will occur rapidly because the instantaneous demand for specific nutrients can quickly exceed the rate of supply. A growing body of evidence suggests that organic living soil provides superior long-term soil health and environmental benefits compared to synthetic fertilizers, which are often criticized for promoting a cycle of dependency and degradation. While synthetic fertilizers offer short-term convenience and high yields, they often come at the expense of long-term soil health, sustainability, and increased corporate control over growers/ farmers. Organic living soil, while slower and requiring more care to establish, creates a sustainable, resilient, and, ultimately, more fertile environment. We don't grow; we facilitate energy conversions. Once all water is removed, approximately 95% to 97% of a plant’s dry matter consists of carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen. These three elements form the structural backbone of all plants. Corporate interest sells you the other 3-5% NPK & all the rest in RATIOS! Why not throw the 3-5% in a pot, and focus your energy on the other 95-97%? Indigenous Amazonians created, or at least significantly enhanced, the fertile, dark soil known as Terra Preta de Índio (Portuguese for "Indian Black Earth") by incorporating biochar and other organic materials into the soil. This anthropogenic (human-made) soil technique, which dates back roughly 2,500 to 8,000 years, allowed ancient civilizations to flourish in regions with naturally poor, acidic, and nutrient-poor tropical soils.

Hello Growers! Nice to finally join the club! 😁 This is a step by step of my very first attempt at growing from Start to Finish. It's something I've always wanted to do and I've researched a lot of over the years but now is the right time to give it a go as I have become a medical user of cannabis and the price just keeps going up!! 😂🤦‍♂️ So without going on too much let's get down to the nitty gritty... I Dropped the 1 seed into a glass of 5.8 PH water on 10/05/21 which I also dechlorinated, waited until she sank then placed her between two damp paper towels inside two plates in a warm, dark & humid spot (bucket) until the tap root showed and was about 1/4" long then she went straight Into media on 12/05/21. Day 1 - 15/05/21 - first two baby leaves open & lights on! Day 2 - 4L Humidifier added, seedling just under 3" tall ALREADY!!! So I've lowered the light from 23" to 15" to try and stop the stretching. Day 3 - 17/05/21 - Checked on my girl and she's the same height as yesterday so hopefully the stretching has stopped 🤞 I also built a T-bar diffuser for my humidifier using some 32mm PVC pipe and fittings (Photo Above) I'm hoping this will distribute the humidity more evenly so I can have the humidifier on less often, I'm getting puddles of condensation forming in the bottom of my tent which is annoying! 🌊🌊🌊 😂 I'm hoping it might save me a bit of deionised water as well? 🤔 Day 4 - The T-bar diffuser I installed on the humidifier is working well, The RH is staying up and so far no puddles! ⛲ 😂 I will get a more comprehensive reading of highs and lows over the next few days and get it dialled in the best I can. I also think that because there is a lot of red LED's in this Mars Hydro light that may also contributing to the stretch during my girls early stages of life. Thankfully she is looking great and the stretch is massively reduced now that The light is lower. 😁 Day 5 - 19/05/21 - So far So Good! 😊 The stretching has definitely stopped but I'm still worried about her getting so tall so fast!! So today I installed a small 6" fan in the corner of my tent to try and get her stem to thicken up a bit, this is set to run only when the humidifier is on otherwise it screws up my RH and Temperatures. I also plan to bury her an inch or two deeper when I re-pot 👍 apart from that she's doing great! 🙂 Day 6 - 20/05/21 - No major updates today she's just looking happy! 🙂 Today's Environment Readings: Max Out (Probe) - 24.2c Max In (LCD Screen) - 23.8c Max RH (LCD Screen) - 81% Min Out (Probe) - 18.8c Min In (LCD Screen) - 18.7 Min RH (LCD Screen) - 47% Day 7 - So that's week 1 done & It seems like I've gotten all my temps down now, 👍 she's no longer stretching, humidity and temperatures are staying where I want them and my little girl is looking healthy 😁 No nutrients for the first 7 - 10 days of her life just water 🚰 set to PH 5.8 and dechlorinated. Hardware 0.75 x 0.75 x 2.0m Bud Box Pro tent in White Telos 6 Pro 175w LED! 😁 4" TT pro fan for Extraction moves up to 187M2 & SMS Controler + temperature probe 3" Passive intake (made slightly larger than normal due to the small area and large fan, also covered to prevent pests) 6" clip on Ram fan placed next to intake Rhino Pro 100/300mm Carbon Filter 4" Black combi ducting which feeds outside 4L humidifier set to run intermittently via analogue timer to increase humidity in Seedling + Veg stage Agro lab Temperature and humidity sensor Media I decided to go with a soil media as all of the medicine I grow will be for myself so flavour, quality and terpenes mean more to me than weight 0.2L"ish" Seedling pots - 75% BioBizz light mix 25% Canna Coco Professional for added drainage I will only be re-potting once into 8L Fabric pots 75% BioBizz All Mix 25% Canna Coco Professional Nutrients Going to stick with the BioBizz range of organic liquid nutrients including Grow, Bloom, Root Juice, Cal-Mag, PH down & Top Max apart from using some Plant Magic Silicon, some Root it First Feed, some Neutralise to remove the chlorine and chloramine from my tap water & Flawless Flush at the end. (I have some more seeds en-route to be safe) Light Distance From Canopy - 120cm Temperatures - Lights On - 26.0C Temperatures - Lights Off -20.0C Relative Humidity - 75% - Lights On Relative Humidity - 60% Lights Off Current Light schedule - 18/6 I can't think of anything else to include in regards to specs but if I've missed anything off or if you have any questions or comments then get involved as I'd love some input and advice!!!
