It's been a busy week. The Red Dragon is growing really well, and they seem to be shooting up really quick. There's no stretch on them so I know they're getting enough light. So far the Red Dragon is definitely one of my favorite strains but I've got a lot more to get through yet lol. I have got some acoustic ducting. WARNING... Acoustic ducting has Fibre glass in it and is a MAJOR IRRITATENT to both skin and eyes and should be done in a well ventilated area with suitable protection. So, I have also switched from pure batmix to a 50/50 split with a good compost. I have done this as I'm not 100% happy with the level of water retention in the batmix, I'm finding it to be too much and I do not want to run into any issues. I would rather the soil drys out then I know exactly when to water. I have also increased the HPS to 400w (from 250w) it is very difficult to give plants too much light. I am spraying the tent whenever I can, with warm(ish) water to increase the humidity for a short while. I will be looking into fiming and LST probably next week to make sure they have a good base. I have also had to transplant the plants into another pot as the roots are growing like crazy at the moment. I also purchased a dimmer plug for the fan, as I don't need it to be on full all the time (it's a 6 inch fan with duel speed but thats far too much for what is needed now. Other than that all is good

I've already cut a few buds this week, so that the effect is not too deadly and suitable for work

End of week 4 for the Orange Sherbet. She just got fed with Goldleaf feterlizer and cal-mag. So far no new changes. She keep growing slow, no signs of pre- flower. She's been a hand full. Leave are still getting the brown spots and dying even with cal-mag added to the feeding. Let's see how week 5 goes.

This week are repotted the plants and will move the four in BAC lava soil up to my Dr120 this week. I have just cleaned it and like to leave it empty for a week , move the food source for any bugs. They have just had water this week and are bouncing back from being topped. The two in dwc are staying in this tent.

I believe my plants are finally getting acclimated to the medium and recovering from transplant shock. New growth is looking much healthier. Just as a preventative measure, I picked up some Botanicare Hydroguard to use in an attempt to supplement the roots and bring the pH of the soil down to where I want it. Personally, the pH remains just a tad too high for my liking this week. I would like it more in the range of 5.7-6.5 but I'll give it a week or so to see the reaction to the Hydroguard. I've continued with more LST on all but the Glookies #2. On this plant I simply did a topping. It was a risk, considering the plants isn't vibrantly healthy, but I need to maintain it's height. I also did a second topping to the American Pie #1. As can be observed from the photos, not all of the plants were shaped the same way. I got creative with the fabric pots and I decided to LST a few plants a little bit differently just to see which technique/style I liked the most. So far, I am digging the way the Jelly Bananen #1/#2 and American Pie #2 are shaping up. They are going to have a beautiful, wide canopy when they head into flower. I'm considering transplanting into 5 gallon fabric pots within the next week or two so I can flip them to flower two weeks later. My intuition is telling me this has been a pretty lengthy vegetative stage, thus far. I'm expecting all of my plants to double in size during the flowering stage, which should be anywhere between 65-70 days long. I made sure to select strains with similar flowering times (60-70 days). I didn't get that much yield and the buds were too fluffy do I decide to use all the buds and trim to do bubble hash, I really enjoyed the entire process.

Overall plant wet weight was 2,6 kg after initial trim and removal of all stems, it came down to 2,1 kg, which will end up up somewhere in the high 300s maybe 400 gr dry. Harvested a bit in a hurry as the one mutated bud on the plant looked a bit funky and I feared but rot (all other buds look rot free so far). Tried to take some nice pictures with the plant out of the tent, however she was not able to support herself at all and I will there fore post some nicer pictures of the finished product . I have to say for a, in the beginning, pretty small plant, she turned out very nice and I would definitely grow her again.

This grow was challenging because they stretched five times their height after flipping, so I had to rebuild the entire tent to fit them. Unfortunately, this meant that I couldn't use my regular lights but instead had to use a QB light dimmed down to not fry the plants thoroughly. This resulted in light bleaching and insane foxtailing in the top buds and a reduced yield overall. I am confident that both quality and quantity would have been better with less stretch.

Mandarin Squeeze smells amazing if you love oranges. The girls grew great. One took dominance as I expected in the grow. I hope it tastes as good as it smells. It would be my new favorite indica strain. I will be back with a smoke report in a few months. The grow was overall very smooth and definitely pretty quick compared to others but could be because she wasn’t a very tall or high producing plant. I’m sure it was something I’ve stunted along the way early on but could of also just been a runt seed. Either was 120 grams, I’m happy with. She took a well to LST along the way and didn’t have to do much defoliating with her. Looking forward to sharing a smoke report once she’s dry and ready.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The ladies had another great week, I got the Durban Nights, Red Hot Cookies, and Sundae Driverr's second toppings completed on day 26, and I got the second toppings done on the Green Crack and Bubble Runtz on day 27. Right now I have 4 mains on each plant, and I will top each one this week, probably in the next 3-4 days which will leave with me 8 mains. So the mainlines will be completed during week 5, and I plan to flip to flower around week 7. I am still seeing a couple holes on the leaves of the Sundae Driver, but I have treated her twice with neem oil and I don't see any new holes since the last application and I can't see any bugs even with magnification. I am still not sure if it was a bug issue or just a genetic thing. Either way I am not too concerned at this point because they all seem to be very healthy. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent.
