~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2202 girls and they're on a roll! The #1 tester has developed some discoloration on her leaf tips which tells me she's a bit sensitive to my amendment concentrations so remember to go very light on the nutrients when you start out! I'll keep an eye on her but really am not too concerned at this time. When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and I'm thinking over topping them in the next day or so. 12/21- Well, yesterday I went ahead and topped the #2 Tester #2202 taking off the 5th leaf set. Hopefully she won't stress out over this and starts shooting out those secondary branches. I left the #1 alone as she's not quite as vigorous as the #2. I may not top the #1 as a sort of comparison to see how each grows out. Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and they should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! -Huge size difference between all 3 plants: Plant #1: 41cm Plant #2: 85cm Plant #3: 114cm -Defoliated all 3 plants. -I'm not sure why there is such a big size difference between the plants. Does anybody have a guess? -Plant #1 definitely seems to be significantly more mature. The buds are drastically more developed, frosty with much more trichomes, and many orange hairs already. The other plants are far behind it. -Plant #1 has a very sharp mint and lime smell to it, the other 2 are very skunky. -Very difficult to keep a consistent light distance between all 3 plants now, even when plant #1 is propped up on a bucket. My light can't go much higher now, and plant #3 is only about 6 or 7cm under it.

Dinafem Cheese 1st week of flowering 10th june 2020 Well after 5 days since switching to a 12/12 lighting regime this lovely girl is starting to bloom. 👌 😃 I gave her a feed of some Blackstrap molasses @ 1 teaspoon / Gallon (mixed with water) also added in Ozi Magic Monstabud @5mls/L She hasn't stretched too much which is a relief to me and I'm now looking forward to watching her buds develop over the coming weeks 😎 the Marigold I planted as a companion has flowered now also and is a brilliant yellow colour Thanks for stoppinng by 👍

Day 137 12/12 Friday Finally harvest day!! Not a bounty to brag about, but we know i messed up in veg with these autos so it was a ' ride it out ' Trial. I managed to get 38g of potent looking buds. I will update after hang dry and dry trim. Then cure. 💚

Day 60 of 12/12 HARVEST TIME They are soooo fine I barely have words. Weak-neck gland trait is a fact. I was collecting FRESH, "WET" (non-dried) flowers for Fresh Frozen - the amount of trichome heads just breaking off during that process was astounding. Air was full of trichome heads every time I touched a branch or a bud. I repeat - it was non-dried flowers, straight from a branch, from alive, watered plant - and I collected a few grams of loose heads in my TrimBin. Crazy stuff. I also pressed it and I got top-shelf rosin - without dryiyng and sieving or bubble ice wash. Mind blown 🤯 8 plants 60 days (8.5 weeks) of flowering under 12/12 4x4 ft tent 466W Mars Hydro light = 2166g of Whole Plant Fresh Frozen material (just trimmed buds + some trichome-covered leaves) Now floweres are in deep freeze -36°C waiting to be washed for bubble hash and pressed into live rosin in the near future.

Hello everyone! The last two weeks I have been very busy so I did not have time to upload the previous week. The previous week I noticed a mold starting to form in the flowers of the wedding cake (the taller plant) because the humidity was too high in the growing space. I acted quickly and added a dehumidifier, an extra fan and a home co2 system . On top of that, I cut out any part I found that was infected with the mold. Last week I started washing the gorilla skittles (the low plant) hoping to harvest it next week.

Harvest YAY! It's been an epic mission but we made it!! Plant 2 is slightly heavier than Plant 1. I'll update with dry weights in a week.

Whats up GD !!! ------------- GROWTH------------- They keep growing without problems, but added more micro vita and microbes are eating nutrients too fast, but does not matter as tomorrow im transplanting both plants. I hope taller cheese can eat more, as you can see, lower leaves are yellowing a bit. Wether is not good... cloudy days.. Started the training season !!! :) Used threads to bend the plants. You have to check the roots !! This combination works flawless.. They are more stinky this week, when you touch a plant smells like lemon skunky notes ... ------------- IRRIGATION------------- Watered both ladies, around 0.2-0.3l each one with nutrients. ------------- NUTRIENTS------------- Deeper underground (2ml/l) + Bio-Grow (2ml/l) + Micro Vita. I’m very happy with this strain and would highly recommend. The grow went well despite having some nutrient issues on my part off the bat, the plant over stretched and burnt the main cola on the light. But overall the plant ended up very large and beautiful. I’d guess i get 3+ ounces from this plant.

And with this, the ladies shall say good bye as the next post will almost certainly be the harvest. Sad but damn i'm excited!!!! this is a crop i am truly proud of. All 3 strains in the tent came out just incredibly nice but i'm glad i picked the gorilla zkittlez for the diary as i doubt i'll be seeing trichs like this again anytime soon. The pictures do a fairly good job ( p.s. just got the S10 and wow it takes nice pics even compared to the S9) but in person the trichs are so long its almost surreal. like it looks furrry and soft and fluffy. I hope she smokes as hard as she looks cause she looks like she gonna be putting me in a damn coma. The smell is very nice as well. Slightly sweet but still that strong strong dank smell. I CAN NOT WAIT TO SMOKE THESE LADIES!!! 😍😍😍 I've noticed some people are following along, I hope you enjoyed the run and I look forward to posting the harvest. Whats your guess for the zkittlez? of the 6 plants in the tent 2 are the GZ. my guess.........hmmmmm........350-400 grams The flowers on all the plants are DENSE. No fluff this time around so im thinking this should be a healthy harvest indeed!!! Shout out to amazing genetics from Barneys as well. those guys kill it! Started to flush yesterday. I think they will be done in 2-3 days. lastly, whatever those sap bubble things are, they werent eggs and are still a mystery lol

The start was a little rough for this lady but she bounce back so well and just did her thing, I was really looking for much because it was more about learning for me and I did learn a thing or two but over all this strain is great smoke was smooth, it smell the same as it taste with rich mango flavors.

This week I have seen the bud sites really coming on I removed the last few leaves I am going to as they were over shadowing other but sites. They smell heavenly and I can't tell you how beautiful they are and they love the monkey nutrients. In practice, we only made one topping at the beginning, always leave two side branches in the internode below and in the center two fantastic branched main colas have grown and the plant is around one and a half meters a real beast to be an automatic.

Very happy with the end result all three plants look pretty big. Hard to believe this little 325watt light powered these beasts! Plants are fading and looking nice.... about another week until harvest!

She truly might be becoming the Gorilla that was promised, huge leaves. Not as pungent or bushy as the Orange Hill beside her but she seems to get there. I'm finally seeing some exponential growth, I'm going to give them as much rest as I can coming weeks to maximize growth before flowering and to prevent (hopefully) them going hermie on me, which both Gorillas and Orange Hill Special are prone to. I have made a video to thank them for letting me use their SP-3000. What a beast of a light!! Thanks again @MarsHydroLED for letting me test this awesome light! I have made a new layer of topsoil made of organic coco-peat, which should help me prevent more fungus gnats. They already seem to hate it and are wandering around in agony trying to dig in... Good for them, freeloading beastards. Now we go to flowering coming weeks, and I can't wait... Thanks for checking in and the likes and support!

My papapayton is coming along nicely. It’s a strong plant from our the door. I think I transplanted my plants a little too early this time and caused a little stewed growth this past week. They grew a decent amount but I can tell I did some root damage and I over watered at trasplant. Even with all my mistakes the plants still look great and healthy. Every plant from fastbuds so far has had the best resistance to stress. I’m excited to see this one come along

Good week for the ladies. Dry warm and going to get hot the next couple of days. Fed the ladies 1200 ppm, 400 ppm of Massive Bloom Formulation and 800 Floranova bloom. She a niice plump lady for sure, happy and giving flower.
