the last week was really sunny again, which of course pleased the beautiful plant very much. in the last week she only got fertiliser once. biobizz top-max, bloom and grow. 24 hours before the harvest, she was given an ice-cold rinse and a few ice cubes. (does that really help?) the buds have grown very compact and firm. the odour is intense. wet weight at the end was 159 grams. but measured generously. all in all i am very satisfied with the grow. at the beginning she had to fight with the german weather, but she has survived all strains and stress.

Destiny has given me a wonderful climate so far but from the 18th the weather will change completely, precisely in the last 10 days of flowering which fortunately is very accelerated by the anomalous heat, especially at night. Typical late summer weather here, kinda for weed. First storm is expected on Saturday, I'm ready to protect them. I've made the last rearrangement of the tent, trying to give more room to the vigorous and overflowing Pineapple Kush so I've rised the roof to 110". The plants are all carefully sprayed with thyme extract to control mites infection, it seems to work, infection is stable from 1 week. I kill manually 20/30 bedbugs a day. During nighttime, maybe a monster grasshopper, is munching some leaves, at this point I don't care, I have to defoliate anyway and these bastards don't chew buds, for now. Buds are filling very well, super sticky and frosty but looking at sister's buds is clear that Royal Gorilla will not produce giant buds (except the twin buds) . Strong citron/berry scent. I have to be very careful not to touch her because she is sticky like a fly trap and not to shake her because the smell can be heard from 100 meters away. Expected harvest September 3rd/4th week. Shitty week. Fan fell down and broke a few branches on 2 plants. Overall they have recovered well and I hope the yield is not affected. Humidity has gone down. I bought a small dehumidifier - but somehow it's not doing what I'd hoped. I've defoliated a bit as the leaves are overlapping and moisture is accumulating there. NYC Sour D #1: Lost 2 lower branches. No drama, but I felt bad. #2: Still slow growth and very compact. Royal Cookies Auto #1: Still the best strain. The first pistins can be seen. #2: Also good plant. As well first pistins Royal Haze Auto #1: So far ok. No pistins to be seen yet. #2: Has lost a side branch. But it was a somewhat smaller plant anyway. Let's see how it continues. Light settings 50% dimmer at 50 cm distance Between 650and 970 ppfd. Small yellow leaf tips. I think this has more to do with the nutrients than with light stress. I don't add any fertilizer, but I don't have to water much either. I'll be on vacation for 11 days from next Wednesday on - I'll water 2 liters per plant before vacation so that the neighbor doesn't have too much to do. He'd better take care of the ventilation and humidity.

Shes a monster! She grows super duper fast I'm sure you agree! I'm very content with her already shes spread greatly. I haven't had tons of time to really mess with her and she seems to like it when I leave her be for a few days between training and defoliation. I included some ac infinity charts however I havent focused on VPD due to leaf temp differential and I believe it isnt as accurate as it should be. Unfortunately AC infinity has made the app mostly for iphone and I'm stuck on android. I will do my best to show you my averages and high and low. I hope that you enjoy the garden as much as I do! La alegria que se palpita es mucha! Siempre soñe con tener cogollos oscuros y esta es la primera vez! Es notable la diferencia entre la planta fertilizada con namaste y la de feeding, aunque con este solo utilize el Grow y el Booster. Esta ultima tiene un aroma mas plano, sutil, pero gana en volumen. En cambio con la que utilize namaste destaca mas la precencia de ese aroma como a frutos del bosque, dulce y terroso. A comienzos de pre flora aparecieron unos gusanos verdes que se multiplican muy rápido. La mayoria la elimine a mano, pero lo ideal es utilizar jabon potasico + Aceite de neem para eliminarlos inmediatamente.

The remaining 14 days are reserved for drying. I decided to do one last defoliation, removing all the leaves that were too damaged and allowing the light to penetrate more deeply. There’s a mix of photos showing them before and after the defoliation. Speaking of light, last week I changed the cycle, and until the 16th, they'll be on 24/24 light—first time I'm trying this method instead of the usual 2 days of darkness. On the 16th, I'll take them out of the tent and snap the final photos. It hasn’t been an easy journey... Right at the start, during germination, while handling the pots, I dropped the light on top of them. I had to germinate a new seed, which became R03. Later, during the vegetative stage, I dropped the R02's pot, affecting her so much that she's now on the balcony and half the size of the others (to be fair, R01 and R03 grew so much that they completely took over the tent 😅). Then there was my excitement when preparing the soil, which ended up being a bit too hot with nutrients, causing both plants to yellow earlier than expected. I tried to correct this by watering without nutrients for a while; it didn’t help much, but I believe if I hadn’t done that, things would’ve been worse. Even with all that, they turned out to be big girls, with plenty of bud sites, and they’re now entering that final phase of fattening up.! Let’s see what they can do in these last 5 days! 💚 ----------------------------------------------------------------- #13/05/2025 I can already see some final improvements, hehe. I watered them one last time with 3.5L of plain water each, because on May 16th, or at the latest the 17th, it's time to cut and put them to dry for the remaining days of the contest. Everything is super tight around here, but we’re going to make it! 💪🏻 I'm thinking of doing a wet trimming when I cut the plants and put them to dry.
