The plants are still growing at a good pace. Just finished their 1st week on 12-12. They definitely filled out so we went ahead and did like a 40 % defoliation to help the light get through all those branches. Waiting to see the start of the stretch and some more early signs of preflower. I was short on time or inwould have more up close shots of early signs, I'll edit mid week and update on how they bounced back from the trimming.

Well she has been growing very nicely and has put on some weight , the smell and density of the buds is nice to see. I've been a fan of dinafem since day 1 and she has been the best producing girl since the get go ...when other plants showed signs of stress she just pushed through happy to be growing this beauty can't wait for the next few weeks to get here ...cheers canna fam

Was out of town all week and came back to find the CBD Star in my space bucket not looking good. It looks like a phosphorus deficiency but not entirely sure. Yellow leaves with brown/black spots and dark red/purple stems. I flushed it with 2 gallons 6.5 pH water, re-fertilized, put it out in the sun and defoliated. I defoliated pretty heavily since many of the fan leaves were yellowed and blocking light from the lower bud sites. The center was also getting pretty dense so I carefully removed some of the leaves to help with airflow. Despite the stress, It seems to have bounced back reasonably well. There’s probably irreparable damage given the level of yellowing but the buds continue to grow and thicken. Cheese has absolutely exploded and looks great. It probably doubled in height last week with many bud sites on the 5 main stalks. Excited to see how it turns out.

Overall I’m very happy to end my first run like this. I think I made a pretty decent job and I can’t wait to try the finished product after curing. Happy growing everyone! 🍀🌱

Its going very well so far

Week 10: I loved growing this strain, it smelled so fruity while the buds were on the plant. Towards the end of flowering the buds looked sugar dipped as described on the website. The sap from inside the stems smells like skittles and sugar lol which was a nice surprise! Most pistils are Amber so idk what the THC/CBD ratios are going to be. Il give an estimate once buds are cured for 2 weeks or so! So I’ve managed to get some street weed to compare alongside my own weed and I’ve added the pictures to the harvest so you guys can see them. I tried to pick the best street weed from about 4 varieties so here we go... The street weed is called Wedding Cake, my weed is obviously Smoothie and I suppose what I want to know is how the street weed looks, does it look healthy? Any guesses as to how it was dried or cured if even? The first noticeable thing is that the street weed stems are huge and the sugar leaves seem to be left on the plant to dry too. Although I did leave sugar leaves on this time I feel that it’s not very professional. I have smoked a joint of the wedding cake and it’s not all that great, feel a bit sedated/couch locked but not high or happy if you know what I mean :) but yeah please let me know what you think in the comments :) Curing Update: (1) Been curing for a week and buds are definitely smoking much better now, the taste and burn still isn’t amazing as it needs a few more weeks curing but it’s unique and exotic. It’s very strong when it comes to THC, because it still needs further curing you could smoke a whole joint and think damn that’s still too fresh to get me blazed. By the end of the joint you would be struggling to keep a conversation or stand up, Stoned eyes that even eye drops won’t cure :’D and it’s also a real head high in my opinion, audio/visuals definitely enhanced too, everything is extremely bright, sharp and sounds great! I don’t really care about time of day smoke as i could need something stronger at different times for pain etc but this is definitely a Nighttime smoke, it hits so hard that the best thing you can do is put on some music and close your eyes or watch a movie. An amazing strain for zoning out entirely into some chill music and if you need weed to deal with strong physical or mental pain or sleep problems then I would recommend giving this a go as so far it has been a lifesaver for me. Curing Update: (2) So I think the buds have been curing for just over 2 weeks now and they are looking great and smoking pretty well too. A few more days drying wouldn’t have hurt them but I’m not worried as my Blue Cheese and Pineapple Express harvests are just around the corner! I added some lovely photos and a video to show you guys how it looks And I’m just about to blaze up a joint from the last photo and tell you all how it smokes too... (Lights up joint) Slightly damp on lighting it up although it burns near perfect. Instant hit on the back of the throat with smooth/mango flavors. I feel a bit dizzy quite quickly and want to sit down and listen to music after a few tokes followed by a relaxed or mellow feeling. I’m about halfway through the joint now and I’m pretty stoned. Definitely sweet and smooth like blueberry also sherbet sweet like mango! I’m almost finished my joint now and I suppose to sum up I’d say that it’s much like the blueberry smoothness you expect mixed with the strength from a well grown mango. I felt that the effects are great if your in a nice comfortable setting, get relaxed, be creative, watch a movie or even get ready to sleep. I would avoid anything that requires a lot of effort. Personally I’ve had minimal problems with getting to sleep and with anxiety while taking this throughout the day and would highly recommend it! It’s the best thing I’ve grown so far :) Il leave a final review on the buds in 2 weeks, until then take care and happy growing! Curing Update (3) - 05/03/20 So I’ve finished the smoothie buds and I have to say they were great. The only negative was it’s my first time drying buds with trim and they could have done with a little longer drying. I made some canna butter from 3G of trim and 2.25g of bud. I made ginger cupcakes with salted caramel icing. You guys can see it cause I added a photo. I can only eat 2 per day with a heavy tolerance - sedative cupcakes hahah. Harvested at day 116, had some problems of high inflow pH at week 11 that has a little decreased the final harvest, in my opinion. But I'm proud of my job cause that was the ONLY little problem in the entire grow. Keep Growing and learning everyday 🙏🏻💚🤞🏼🕉️

Good week here #1 is 10" and wider,took a clone. #2 is nice too she is 8.5" tall , both are healthy i will be flowering soon, I want both about 12" when I flower them. So maybe mid week flip? We see. Another week, new Problems. On Wednesday i noticed that on the Special Queen one spot looked very weird. Instead of forming one bud on a spot, there were coming two buds out of one spot. After asking in questions section and google the problem, i found out that this is most likely "Fasciation", a mutation most likely caused by stress or bad genetics. Some people said it's fine and that it will get even higher THC levels, but most said it will have less THC, taste weird and that there will be most likely a high mold chance. So after some consideration i took the scissors and just did cut it off. Im really not in the mood to experiment with some mutant stuff right now and i just hope the energy will now go into the other branches instead. Also i did my last defoliation on Thursday. Maybe i have done too much of it, but that is how it is now. I have a good feeling that i will get good results and right now that is all which matters for me. You can ask 10 people and all have different opinions about it, so i just do it now as i think it's right. At least now i can see everything all right, so if i get hermies, i can remove the pollen sacs right away. Before that i couldn't see anything because of all the leaves. It was such a pain in the ass and took over 5 hours to remove everything. I can't open my tent on the left side and can't remove the plants because of the scrog, so i really struggled especially to do it on RG #1, my back is killing me now. Decided to do super cropping on two Branches of RG #1, so i can lower the lamp a little bit. Im out of stuff which i could put under the Plants to increase height, so the canopy won't get better / more even then this now sadly. I hope i did it kinda right. Im still kinda sad that they didn't stretch more, but it is what it is. As you can see on my picture there is a lot of wasted space on top of my tent, like 30cm. Next Veg will be longer for sure. After last week they now got BioTabs Bio PK 5-8 again for the second time. I think the plants look alright and as long as nothing will herm now, i think im fine for the upcoming last 5-6-7 weeks. Esta semana ya realice la poda. Se encuentra en estos momentos en etapa de secado dentro de una caja especial para secados de flores que uso siempre y nunca me falla. En humedo hay 195g y utilice una lampara led de 150w en todas sus etapas. Próximamente estaré publicando cuando este en curado.

I just got myself a Digital Microscope for under $20.00 on Walmart.com, I got me a cheap one to start with so I can learn how to use it properly. But for under $20.00 this one brings 8 led lights, a adjustable mount, comes with 3 different connection choices build in, magnifies from 50-1000x, can take pictures and also videos and my favorite part, it connects right to my mobile device, you download and install a Google app and your ready to go, ill work with it and add pictures next week...
