ā„ļø ANIMAL MINTS — Legends of the Frozen North Folder 9 — Germination Report (12/12 Schedule) 8Ɨ8 Last 2025 Run āø» 1. Prologue to the Frozen North Animal Mints enters the grow room like a creature forged in ice — a strain whose legend, power, and resilience echo the spirit of the Frozen North. Under the strict 12/12 light regime of this run, the three seedlings selected for this journey stand as the first cubs of a polar lineage, preparing to carve their story into this frozen saga. A fourth, more mature plant waits beyond the blizzard, hidden from the narrative for now — the Elder of the North — to be revealed later as the story unfolds. āø» 2. Seeds of the North — Selection & Identity • Total Seeds Germinated: Several • Selected for the Saga: Three seedlings • The Hidden Elder: One pre-veg plant (ā‰ˆ3 weeks), to appear in Week 1 Veg Every seed showed the strength expected from a creature adapted to cold survival — fast, uniform, and determined. āø» 3. Conditions of the Northern Realm To maintain continuity across the 8Ɨ8 project, Animal Mints begins its legend under the same strict environmental code: • Light Schedule: 12/12 from Day 0 • Medium: Identical to previous folders for comparative integrity • Humidity: Naturally high in early stages, forming ā€œfrostā€ (condensation) on leaves • Temperature: Stable warmth against the metaphorical cold These conditions create the perfect environment to introduce the Frozen North theme: a harsh cycle demanding strength, discipline, and adaptability. āø» 4. Emergence of the Young Bears — Germination Performance The three chosen seedlings pushed through the soil like small white bears rising from beneath snow: • Strong taproots with vigorous direction • Clean, symmetrical cotyledons • Confident posture • No deformities • Unified emergence time The Animal Mints clan begins with perfect early synchronization. āø» 5. The Frost Effect — Notes on Condensation & Macro Shots Macro photography captured ā€œglacier dropletsā€ on the tiny leaf surfaces, magnified to look like heavy ice beads. In reality: • The droplets are tiny • Macro magnification exaggerates size • It is natural humidity and leaf transpiration • No stress is present • No pathogens, burn, or imbalance Just the beauty of frost on young life, true to the Frozen North aesthetic. āø» 6. Behavior Under the Polar Cycle (12/12) Even from Day 0, the seedlings quickly adapted to the shortened daylight cycle — similar to life in the far north: • Upright, resilient posture • Zero uncontrolled stretch • Steady leaf development • A rhythm of growth shaped by long ā€œnightsā€ These observations contribute to the scientific and mythological study of how a strain can thrive under near-Arctic light conditions. āø» 7. The Elder of the North (To Be Introduced Later) For now, the older pre-veg plant remains behind the veil — a creature already forged through harsher early conditions. She will emerge later in: šŸ“Œ Week 1 VEG — ā€œArrival of the Elderā€ At that moment, her presence will expand the legend: • A seasoned warrior entering the Frozen North • Standing beside the three seedlings • Offering immediate comparison between 12/12-born plants and a more traditional veg-grown specimen This delayed introduction strengthens the narrative arc and enriches the diary’s mythos. āø» 8. The Journey Ahead The legend continues with: • Early structural development • Macro photography documentation • Weekly chapter-style reports • The Elder’s arrival • The shaping of the full Animal Mints — Legends of the Frozen North saga FOR DISCOUNT CODES AND MORE JUST FOLLOW THE LINK https://website.beacons.ai/dogdoctorofficial šŸ“² Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Hello everybody! This week will be the hardest one. I’ll have to work a lot inside the room, and even on GD to document all the changes. Last week I topped for the last time (in reality this happened the first day of this week), and finally stopped with high stress training. From now on, our attention will fall totally on ScrOG. Day 43: Topped the 4 colas at the extremities. Red blood came out from them (see the photos). Amazing! Sorry for the bad quality, but I got just the phone with me when I did the job. When I took the second photo (a few hours later), the plant had already sucked up all the lymph. You can still see the red blood by the way. Day 44: Set the timer to start with 12/12 from midnight of day 45. Day 45: SO MANY THINGS HAPPENED TODAY. Flowering started, baby! 🤩 Today, in the evening, I worked for about 4 hours to prepare the ScrOG environment. - Improved the LST before placing the grid. - Took some photos. - Removed the humidifier. - Since my LED panel has half of the blue lights broken (this happened three weeks ago), resulting in 100W less of total potency, I added 3 new lights pointing where the panel is broken (2x 36W led bulbs and 1x 30W COB led light). I uploaded a photo and a video to better understand what I’m talking about. I even tried changing the broken LED driver, but it didn’t work, so now I’ll have to wait until the end of this cycle to send it to maintenance. - Put 20gr of BatMagno (which is bat guano), 10gr of ā€œFarina di Neemā€ (Neem Flour), and 50gr of Alghe, all of them over the soil. I’ll write something about these fertilizers at the end of the comment. - 4.5L of tap water (corrected to PH6.5), which gave zero runoff. Haha, she’s drinking like a camel. - Placed the grid. - Took a few photos. - Little defoliation. - Took all the other photos. - There we go! I preferred not to add the bloom fertilizer now because I’m a little worried about overfertilizing this baby. During veg, she showed me she doesn’t like nutrients, so I’m just listening to her requests. I’ll add the bloom one as soon as she seems hungry again. By the way she’s just 20cm tall (I’m so proud of this result) and the grid is located a few centimeters above her. Let’s see if I switched to 12/12 at the right time: I heard this strain usually stretches for about 6 weeks!!! 😱😱 Let’s talk about the ferts I placed on the surface of the soil. - BatGuano: it’s a mixture of organic fertilizers of natural origin and suitable to produce a high amount of organic nitrogen and phosphorus that can be assimilated at 100%. It’s a natural slow-release fertilizer for flowering: the raw materials used (guano, dried borlanda with ammonium salts, kieserite of natural origin, flagpole, meat meal, bone meal and dried poultry) are the result of a careful selection which ensures a low salinity and a gradual transfer of the elements. The phosphorus content in BatMagno (being organic) does not undergo insolubilization. - Alghe: they are a portentose substrate activator made of a mixture of algae of the species Ascophillum, Fucales and Laminariales, obtained through a process of dehydration and grinding without the use of any chemical substance. They can be used during the preparation of the soil, and increase and strengthen the formation of the root system, mobilize the nutrients in the soil, reinvigorate the plants, protecting them from adverse weather conditions, help plants to overcome stress conditions and improve the quantity and quality of production. All of this is possible thanks to the presence of betaine, cytokinins, vitamins, auxins and alginates polysaccharides. - Farina di Neem (Neem Flour): it’s a vegetable product based on Neem seeds, obtained from the extraction of Neem Oil through a process of cold-squizzing out, which increases crops, improving both growth and flowering, as well as strengthening the roots of the plants. The Neem Flour is mixed with nitrogen fertilizers, that slow down the conversion and leaching of nitrogen. Repeated interventions improve the endogenous resistance of plants to pathogens, creating an unsuitable environment for the development of insects and cryptogams. Due to the presence of important trace elements for plant life, it prevents imbalances and nutritional disorders. It also protects plants from Nematodes, ants, insects and soil larvae. Let’s say Alghe is the most smelly product. My room now smells like seaweed! I need to figure out how to give her water now that the grid is on. I think I’ll plug a 2m pipe at the end of my watering can. That’s the most easy and cheap way to fix this problem. I just need to find the right size of the pipe. I’ll show you my solution next week.

I decided to spend the weekend looking for a good Co2 generator setup. It was quite easy to get it running. All you need is two containers, tubing, yeast, sugar, and warm water. Now I'm just waiting to see how long it will last before I have to refill it. Here is a YouTube link with directions; https://youtu.be/Gxb_G3JAhso The plant on the left started to get too wide so I wrapped a bit of string around the two stems and brought them towards the inside of the plant. Then I tied it off on the hooks loosely so I can still adjust it. Just for good measure I raised the light a few more inches to keep it about a foot distance.

Week 9 of Flower & Happy Day 60 of Flower, you beauty šŸ˜ She continues to stun with her amazing colours fading. I tried to best show her beauty with different bgr colors, with whatever is possible in my home. I decided against flushing her. I will decrease her feeding towards the end, but not flush her. Let's see how that works out. Currently guessing another 7 days? Let me know what you think :) Will post some trichome shots later. Happy day šŸƒā˜€ļø Day 61 - Took some trichome shots today. From the pictures I would almost say she's there? I see so many amber ones and purple transparent milky mixed ones. Hard to say. She's also almost red now, her leaves, no leaf left without fading... I didn't plan for her to be ready this week, aaaaaaaaah. Will she make another 5 days? I hope so. Also the light green shining things, what is it? I find them curled up on buds, they grow a white hair outside but they are curled like a little ball, is it balls???? I watered them today with 3l and a lighter feeding, 2ml bloom and topmax. I guess it was her last watering 😌 Looking at the trichomes and planning a little time-wise, I think I might let her under the light the whole tomorrow, then start the next in Darkness and leave her in the dark for the following 48hours. That should give me some time to prepare her harvest and upcoming drying situation a bit better. Exciting yeay šŸ˜ Day 62 of Flower and 132 days in total and this lady has her last day with light. I went and checked her trichomes again, from top to bottom. She's ready šŸ˜Now into darkness for min. 48 hours yeay

As you can see it's not a tru SCROG as the man-lining plant is taller than the others and there's also height differences among it's colas. In the other hand i'm very happy on how the plants are distributing themselves after i removed the training structures. I removed those structures to prevent more stress to the plants, as they have recieved a hard training and i want to give them a breath and also grow as they like. You can see how many vegetation they have, it almost cover the 85-90% of the tent, in the middle of flowering week 3 i will perform a massive defoliation. This week i can see how the Gorilla with the main-lining is developing more defined and taller colas than the other plants, let's see how they evolve in some weeks. Also this week i will apply the last foliar irrigation, just to help them a bit. -----WATERING CALENDAR----- 05/04/19 - 1.250 ml with all week nutrients -(Foliars, Bloom Stimulator & Bloom Nutrition) @ 1.1 E.C.

Flipped to 12-12 at just under 7 week mark as I ran out of canopy space. Plants are growing beautifully no issues thus far. Began using compost tea as well as a mostly clover based cover crop. Rotating plants daily to get even growth of tops that might be crowded.
