Three weeks into flower and things are moving along. I defoliated some of the lower branches and spread out a few branches here and there. Other than that it's the same situation as always. Nutrients are pumping and lights are beaming. Everything is running smooth and all is well with the world. Like some namaste shit going on around here at the moment. Could very well just be the calm before the storm...

Pleasure to grow. Low maintenance in super soil setup in 5 gal cloth pot. Stayed small and compact but frosted up early and heavily. No deficiencies, steady growth, no training needed. Even minimal LST (which I did not do), would surely increase yield but I was more focused on quality and letting it do its thing. Genetically, it was determined to grow a perfect little canopy while not taking up much space, about as low maintenance as you can get on a plant imo. Running autos is still a limited thing for me, I like the idea of having keeper clones of photos as this is all for personal medical use, but this plant was fun to grow, true to form and stable as heck. I have a few seeds left and I’ll definitely save them for an outdoor run down the line

Buds are fattening up nicely. Red hairs are starting to come in on some of the buds. Overall, looking very frosty and healthy. It's a little mind blowing that this grow - which seemed so slow to start has gone into overdrive.

The bottles was enough for a week with litle plants, with biggest plants must to use an other way. I've put my lamp @50% and plants close around 35 cm. Next week I'll work a bit on the plant, topping, training, to prepare my scrog🌲🌲 And return to manual watering. The soil look a bit too much watered, I'll stop watering for a couple of days. Moved these girls in to the flower room so now they are under 600 watts of hps. towering above every other strain I've grown so far these girls loved vegging for 8 weeks. I did a light defoliation of lower most branches because light wasnt reaching through the canopy well & these girls shouldnt mind it at all. Really looking forward to seeing how these ladies fill up a room. 😉🌿

Well I have to say even though I had a few temperature issues in the night that I think may have stressed them. They took a lot longer than expected but after drying I don’t know how but I ended up with some fantastic tasty buds a few of the plants even came out purple!! I have to say the purple buds are my favourite 🤩 fastbuds never disappoints!!!!!

Buds start to get frosty with THC added second netting due to bending stems because of the buds also keeps plants neat

I gave her a good trim. Fed her some bat guano juice. Now she is drying off for 2 days to use up that power…you can smell her 4 feet incoming.

Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥🥥 1 volume emoji because there really was no method to this grow. Plant seed, let grow, cut down, enjoy regularly😉. Any time you have the luxury of rooting this plant in the earth (where it belongs) is a huge bonus. She didn’t need much of anything and took all she required (for the most part anyway) from the garden👍. OG’s in the emerald triangle pride themselves on the makeup of their soil and the quality of the plants they grow. I like to think that while this girl didn’t have that benefit - she got as close as she could to it here in the north. She was struggling heavy at the start when she was indoors. It must’ve been my error some how but she hated the coco medium, hated the nutes and hated the grow light. As soon as she was moved outside, she was a completely different plant - like she had been begging for the sun the whole time. 5/5 coconuts because you simply can’t beat growing in the ground as the cannabis gods intended😎. Yield🌴🌴🌴 Ahhh the great equalizer of grower egos. Let’s put all of the above in perspective; this girl ended up where she was out of necessity. She was exposed to the elements and potential rippers and named “the decoy” because her express purpose was to draw attention away from the other 2 plants that we didn’t want anyone messing with. Thankfully, no one with a thought to theft ever really noticed her and it wasn’t until late flower that she demonstrated herself to be an award winning plant👍🤘👍. Woulda thought she’d yielded more with how thin her side branches were in comparison to the buds. They were massive and she was ready to fall over by the time the chop window opened. But the buds were also somewhat less dense which made their final sizes a little deceiving. Another limiting factor was that some of her branches were pollinated - probably from a randy bumblebee that had gotten into it somewhere else. Like the other 2 outdoors this year, we pulled 6 or 7 seeds off this girl that may eventually get used in future grows. I’m certainly not opposed to the occasional seed as long as she’s not a full-on hermie that can’t be used. Who knows, maybe a breeding project Is in the cards next year🤔. End of the day, results were about as expected given her conditions and growing environment - 6.51oz of sun grown, sativa goodness👌. 3/5 palm trees for this - without some training and a more accommodating environment - we definitely left some of her potential on the table here. There’s still more than enough to go around though😉. Props Again, a shout out thank you to GD for the platform. Big thank you to HSO for breeding some wicked, awesome beans. And another shout out to good karma for seeing us through this one. Of course some special mention to those who swung in to creep on it these past weeks. January 26 Gave the plants an increase dose of nutrients on the 25th and today I noticed the FS were getting a bit of burn on the tips so I flushed the soil with about 4 gallons of pH 7 water. They're looking better today. RB has a few crispy lower leaves, I think because it has less soil and dries out quicker. I'll probably have to water it daily. The SwCDLC didn't bat an eye at the increased nutrient level. Both SS's are growing ok. The 3 gallon SS is larger then my micro grow one for obvious reasons. Both of the larger plants showed sex a few days ago so I know they're female and the stretch is underway. Hopefully start getting a few small buds next week!
