Ghost Train Haze â Week 11 from Seed (Week 7 Flower)
12/12 from seed â no veg, no limits.
She didnât ask for permission.
She just kept going.
âž»
Quick Recap â How We Got Here
This run was never about controlling size.
It was about channeling energy.
Straight into 12/12 from seed.
No vegetative phase to stretch her intentionsâ
just a direct line from seed â structure â flower.
And stillâŠ
she chose to become a 1.8m tower.
That tells you everything about the genetics.
Stable environment.
Consistent feeding.
No interruptions, no panic moves.
We didnât push her.
We kept up with her.
âž»
Week 7 Flower â Controlled Chaos
At this stage, sheâs fully expressing:
â Vertical dominance
â Long, stacked flower sites
â Increasing density without losing structure
â And that frost⊠building fast now
Sheâs not just tallâ
sheâs productive across the entire column.
And the smell?
Louder every day. Sharper. More complex.
This is where Ghost Train starts to feel like Ghost Train.
âž»
Feeding & Parameters â Why These Numbers
Weâre running:
â EC: ~2.9
â pH: 6.5
And yesâthis is intentional.
At this stage, demand is high.
Sheâs not just building flowers, sheâs maintaining a massive structure while doing it.
The higher EC supports:
â Sustained nutrient availability
â Strong flower development
â Continued metabolic activity at scale
And the pH at 6.5 keeps nutrient uptake balanced in soil:
â Phosphorus & potassium availability optimized
â Micronutrients still accessible
â No locking out key elements during peak demand
Nothing extreme.
Just aligned with what sheâs asking for.
âž»
VPD â Leaf vs Room (Why 26°C / 60% Works Here)
On paper, 26°C and 60% RH might look high for late flower.
But hereâs the nuance:
â Room VPD is one thing
â Leaf VPD is another
With strong lighting and active transpiration,
leaf temperature often runs slightly higher than ambient.
That shifts the actual working VPD into a more optimal range than numbers alone suggest.
So while the room reads:
â 26°C
â 60% RH
The plant is effectively operating in a comfortable transpiration zone, not a risky one.
This is why context matters more than charts.
âž»
About the âDelayâ â Sativa Expression
Sheâs a Haze.
So yesâcompared to others in the room, she appears âslower.â
But letâs be clear:
This isnât delay.
This is genetic pacing.
And honestly?
For a Haze under 12/12 from seedâŠ
Sheâs actually ahead of where youâd expect her to be.
That early flowering trigger shortened the stretch window
and pushed her into production sooner.
Without it?
She wouldnât be 1.8m.
Sheâd be⊠a problem đ
âž»
What Weâre Seeing Now
â Frost production accelerating noticeably
â Buds forming along the entire height
â Structure holding surprisingly well for her size
â Aroma intensifying into that sharp, hazy profile
Sheâs not finished.
But sheâs clearly committed.
âž»
What Weâre Watching
At this size and density, attention shifts to:
â Airflow through the full vertical column
â Moisture pockets deep in the structure
â Any signs of late-stage stress under high EC
â Light distribution across top vs lower sites
This is where big plants test your environment.
Mr. Baggy is on patrol đ”ïžââïž
Especially in the middle zones.
âž»
What to Expect Next Week
â Continued resin production spike
â Buds beginning to tighten and gain weight
â Aromas becoming heavier, more defined
â Possible early signs of maturation in upper sites
Sheâll keep stretching a littleâŠ
but the focus is shifting toward finishing energy.
âž»
Final Thought
Some plants follow the room.
Some plants define it.
This one?
She changed the space around her.

Gratitude
To everyone walking this journey with usâ
The OGs.
The new eyes.
The loud ones.
The quiet ones.
The supporters and the skeptics.
To the platform.
To the community.
To the genetics behind this powerhouse.
To the partners walking with us.
And to every grower learning to read plants instead of chasing numbers.
From grower to growers.

đ Growers love to all đ
đž P.S. â The Eye Behind the Lens
All photos in this diary (for now â except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more.
Photography is part of the story â itâs how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words canât always capture.
Iâve also started experimenting with photo stacking â a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back.
Itâs not digital enhancement or AI; itâs pure photography â a way to reveal the plantâs beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal.
Youâll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots â camera, lens, setup â because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
