Oct 19: warm October continues and this plant will be harvested in a few days. Three days with snow starting 3 days from now so that’s it for the season. Drilled a couple of holes in the trunk. Idea is to stress the plant to spur trichome production. Did this before and not entirely sure it helps, but why not? Oct 20: these buds are getting stinkier and frostier just in time for the season here to end. Smell was quite noticeable this morning so I’ve bumped it up to Strong. All the buds are looking fairly frosty too so this Gelato is finishing strong. 👍👍 Oct 21: harvest day because in two days, Monday, it will be below zero all day and likely snow. Oh well, a longer than expected season allowed this gelato to finish fairly well. Trichomes are still white, and actually I rarely see amber trikes on my plants and I think that’s due the weak sunlight here in the fall. My best option here is to aim to harvest by the end of September. This plant was not billed as being fast flowering so I expected it to be a bit slow, plus it is a sativa pheno, so I feel lucky that it has finished as well as it did. The weather here was definitely good for cannabis this year with the only real hassle being wildfire smoke.

09/18/2021 At battle with catapillar this week Hand picking them off, some bud rot caused by catapillar's . Light defoiliating dying, yellowing leaves. Hand picking is tedious but well worth the effort. Feeding neptunes harvest 2-3-1 this is last week of feeding. Drinking lots of water this week gave each plant 2.0 gallons of Neptunes Harvest 2-3-1 hope it works out couldn't find fox farms, or big buds but I'm sure they will be fine.....will feed again on Friday then plain water for 3-4 weeks till harvest. Feeding should get them through the next two weeks then watering plain water should flush anything not needed by plants. Girls are thirsty this week, just in time for feeding! Neptunes Harvest seems to do the trick. Pistils piling on like crazy so one more feeding on Friday Of 2-3-1 and Week 7-8 banana peel tea, she should start Fattening up,and fading nicely by week 8-9.🙏🏻 The NPK value for banana skins is 0.6-0.4-11.5. But this is the value for dried banana skins. (I will make tea from peels) not sure of N-P-K Is for peel tea? But it works well in my opinion. Day # 6 week 6 applied gypsum today gypsum should help a little with PH issues,7.0 a little to alkaline but she will grow, but she thrive at 6.2 PH

Flush time!!!!!! Starting flush EC was 9.6 I’ve been flushing for 1 week and will go at least another full week. All the trichromes are cloudy with very little amber. This seems to be the hardest part of the grow for me…timing the flush with trichrome color. I’m ok with a little more amber than cloudy tho, so it will work out. So I’ll flush the plants once at the beginning of the flush period, to the point where there is gallons of runoff. Then I’ll feed like normal with zero runoff for the next full week. Gotta let the plants eat the nutrients in the substrate not just wash them out. Day 45 17/08/24 Saturday Another watering today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only. Lemon skittles and XXL ammo are tall, bud nice and smelly plants! 10 days dry and bagged for curing. Sampled a little, the high is very heavy. Definitely growing again

Plants will be moved into tent next week and new ones gonna be set under the light without tent to maximize yield

Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The room conditions this week have remained steady and perfect for her vegetative stage: • Temperature: Around 18°C—cool but manageable, keeping her growth steady. • Humidity: At 60%, maintaining just the right level to support her root zone and foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to provide optimal light for compact, strong growth. i will dim it up soon! These consistent conditions give her the environment she needs to recover quickly from topping and focus on building her structure. Cruising right along here at the end of week 8. Apple Strudel is just taking her sweet time. She is very thirsty & is slowly starting to stack some nice flower. She's super frosty already & has a nice sweet cream smell to her! Probably another 4-5 weeks before her buds are fully mature. 😎🙌

Organic living soil mixed by myself while mixing the local organic matter : ) For example: Earthworm casting / Bat guano / Seaweed power extract / perlite / peat / coco / soil / fungi needed And water when dry.

Hello friends, hello growers! We're in the final stretch now. Just one more week, and this journey will come to an end. This lady has had a tough road, but she endured it all. She survived and rewarded us with a harvest of beautifully aromatic flowers. While she was growing in the tent, everything was perfect—stable climate, proper watering, and great care. But once we moved her outdoors, the real challenges began: cold weather, rain, and later ants, aphids, and caterpillars. We didn't use any pesticides because she was already in the middle of the flowering stage, and we didn't want to spray the buds. We also didn't use any nutrients during this outdoor run. This time, she was growing in rich, humus-filled soil, and I think it provided everything she needed. Now all that's left is to wait a little longer and enjoy the final result. 🌱💚

All is good, officially 6 weeks today going into 7 weeks..

Never thought id yield over a pound from 1 autoflower. At time of weighing humidity in the jars dropped to 58% a little lower then id like it to be. Still, cure has barely started and it already smells and tastes amazing. This tester will be released soon. Dont miss out on this one😍. The zkittlez and forgotten cookies are done stretching, i hope.
