We've reached the 4th week of flowering, and I'm thrilled to share some fantastic progress. First off, I'm pleased to report there's no mold in the tent, an achievement owed to persistent care. Our plants have experienced a growth spurt in height, adorned with a burst of new leaves. The balanced growth has resulted in a uniform canopy across the tent, ensuring equal access to light and airflow for all plants. Now, onto the buds. They have started to form, signifying the onset of the flowering phase. The intensifying fragrance is a constant reminder of the approaching harvest. Every day brings us closer to the reward of our hard work, and I'm eager to share further updates. Until next time, happy growing!

Guava Runtz – Week 6 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) The weather remained good. Guava Runtz is getting a lot of sunshine and consistent nutrients. She has stayed compact and is now around 22 cm tall. The plant has a healthy green color and solid structure. Steady growth so far.

Mental rainbow f1 I have just switched her to 12/12 light schedule to start the flowering stage and hopefully start to see more streaching and signs of transitioning become more noticeable been seeing the plant stretching over the past few days and foliage getting wider

Week 11 From Seed | Week 6 Flower 🌸 (Sour Diesel) Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run has been 12/12 from seed—no veg, no safety net. And this Sour Diesel made that very clear from the beginning. Early stress slowed her down, and in this style of run, that time doesn’t come back. Just like an autoflower, every day counts—and she felt that. She stayed smaller than the rest. Lower water intake. Less stretch. But she never stopped pushing. She adapted, stabilized, and found her rhythm again. ⸻ Current State — Week 6 Flower Now she’s showing her true character. • Temps: 26°C • RH: 60% • EC: 2.0 • pH: 6.5 • Water intake: ~1.2L/day (14.5L soil) Not the biggest drinker—but steady and consistent. We performed a light defoliation, opening her up and preparing her structure for the weeks ahead. And she answered back: Compact, dense buds Noticeable frost building That classic Sour Diesel energy starting to come through Small frame—but real presence. ⸻ Observations • Tight stacking despite limited size • Strong resin production for her stage • Healthy recovery after early stress • Efficient metabolism relative to her size • Terpene profile already hinting through She didn’t win in size— but she’s absolutely delivering in quality. ⸻ The Real Talk This is what 12/12 from seed teaches you. There’s no time to recover mistakes early on. Every stress moment leaves a mark. And this Sour Diesel carries that story. But more importantly—she shows what recovery looks like. Not every plant needs to dominate the room to earn respect. Some earn it by fighting back and still finishing strong. ⸻ Looking Ahead — Week 7 Next week we expect: • Buds tightening further • Frost becoming more visible • Terpenes getting louder—true Diesel character coming out What not to expect: • No major size increase • No catching up to the larger plants And that’s perfectly fine. Now it’s about honoring her finish, not comparing her journey. ⸻ Gratitude 🤝 Big respect to everyone involved: • The genetics — Sour Diesel showing resilience and character • The gear — LEDs, tent, airflow, all working in harmony • The sponsors — for the continued support • The GrowDiaries platform — for letting us document the real journey And to the community: OGs, long-time followers, new supporters, Those showing love and those bringing questions— all of you are part of this. ⸻ Sour Diesel. Small frame. Loud story. Let’s see how she finishes. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Day 71 - Ripening has begun a. pumped out the DWC, and changed for Ripen formula b. we will ripen for 2 weeks, then we will flush! c. her buds are really making large cones, i think they are reaching hard for the light d. stigmas are about 40% orange, 75% light intensity, still 16 hours on, will move to 14 next week Day 72 - gaining weight a. her buds are starting to flower all over them. b. the stigmas are turning colors, she is ripening nicely c. the smell is good, but am running lower intensity lights as not to burn the terpenes Day 73 - still drinking 6L a day! a. she is really ripening up, I will continue to push the ripen, buffering with fresh water to maintain 1000ppm in the pool b. Her trichomes are about 80% milky, 5% amber and the rest clear still, will wait until I see very few clears left, and not too many ambers, this is where experience comes in. Get a good jewelers loup or a microscope. I will start scoping my buds over the next 2 weeks. stay tuned for the updates. Day 74 - getting big a. weight is piling on this plant b. her buds are going all the way down the branch c. will pump out DWC for fresh ripen (: Day 75 - fresh Ripen - 4L gone a. she is still consuming 4-5L a day, not all the way matured b. looking like about 50% stigmas have turned brown Day 76 - more resin a. resin keeps being produced, some of the buds are dripping with resin b. 4L gone over night from the DWC, this plant loves the TA FinalPart/GHE Ripen Day 77 - Ripen change a. pumped out the DWC, replaced with 900ppm Ripen 5ml/L b. the resin is still in high production, will let Ripen run 1 more week, then flush!

They're all doing well as far as I can tell. I've put a tubular heater in-between the pots that comes on when the lights go off as the temperature drops quick in there. Watering as usual but other than that I only check on them about 15 times a day. I tested the run off water for the first time and was 6.3 pH which is what I put in. Was also the first time I'd even emptied them as they normally just dry up by next feed. There's orange hairs on some of the lower buds now guess they're maturing 🤔 Was looking in to getting a microscope to have a look at the trichomes but tried using my phone camera first which I thought didn't do a bad job 😊 is only a S10 so would imagine the newer phones do an even better job 👍 Have what seems to be a CalMag deficiency in all 3 plants but only just came up in rusty spots from 12am to 6am they just appeared was really pissed off and worried about them all day at work 😪 gave them all a CalMag and 6.5 pH water soak of 500ml each and a 200ml foliar CalMag spray for extra effectiveness haha 🙄 and then gave them their normal feed til run off.. the trays were a bit slimy 🤔 hopefully it sorts itself out and have learnt to just use the CalMag every feed to be sure.
