Day40 and two days from flipping to flower, she has grown to the size of her pot and I don’t want her getting root bound. So this week I have been working on her to prepare her for the flip. At the start of the week I got rid of any undergrowth. Any branch that never made it to the canopy is now in a coco cube. Any leaf I didn’t want is now part of the mulch layer. And I have been threading through the screen net to get a nice even top. Above this top I’ve turn on the second light, still at 50% but raise to 45cm above top of canopy. And light hours was drop to 16 hrs on Fungus gnats are lowering as I’ve scraped back the top of the soil layer and top dressed. I’ve also added a fan under the canopy. Totaling three fans All that left to do for now is top dress with bloom nutes, flip the lights again and turn up my extractor. See you on the other side list get it 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

This week we encountered some problems and we lost a couple of days of growth. It was smooth sailing up to here and maybe a little too smooth. I saw that the buds didn't develop right after the previous post last week. After dropping a question and establishing possible reasons I did some interventions to let the plants recover. I raised the light which was real close and temps were too high. Next to that I watered with just some normal tapwater as I suspected some too low PH. I started ventilating more to disperse the heat a little. These actions seemed to have helped as last couple of days I see some real fattening of the buds. This SP-3000 is real powerful and cant be as close as my previous leds. Again props to Mars Hydro and a big thank you to @MarsHydroLED!! Let's hope we do the last couple of weeks with less stress for all of us! Sorry for not posting any Sunshine posts, I have a Christmas surprise in store for those enjoying the mixed reality shots. Checked the two unsexed bagseeds again this week. I was correct, I had one male and one female. I have moved all the younger flowering females into the larger 4x2 tent and moved the male plant and the older purple trainwreck plant into the smaller 3x2 tent. I am hoping to isolate the male and minimize pollination of my girls. This is an end grow, I want both bud and seeds. My plan now is to minimize pollination through isolation and pruning. I want to pollinate a single branch on each of the females, this way I only have a few seeds from each plant and still have quality bud. The male has been trimmed back some already and the pollen sacs have not burst yet. The older purple trainwreck plant is adding weight now to the buds and should be done in approximately 2-3 weeks depending on trichomes. In the larger tent, the back left corner is Pineapple Express. It is the tallest plant in the tent. The front left plant is white widow. The middle front plant is also white widow. The middle back plant is a bagseed, I suspect berry white still for this plant. The far right plant is the younger purple trainwreck plant. Currently feeding the younger plants every 5 days or every third watering depending on the plant. The older flowering PT plant will get its last feeding this week and will start a flush after that. Happy growing 👩‍🌾🏼

For 6 plants I got 415 grams which is so far, again my most yield to date. I think the light is deffo a factor plus the genetics help. It says it has up to 27% THC, it was deffo one of my favourites and I think I’ll be growing this again in the future. I’m terrible of explaining the smell and taste but it was really danky and a lot of my mates loved it.
