Had a bit of a cat-tastrophy this week. I left my tent open to go and fill a bucket of water, came back and zipped it up. What I didn't know is that the cat got in. Not 5 minutes later I can hear all sorts of shit moving around so I came in to find I had zipped him and and he went bonkers and bent almost every branch on the Skunk. So I had to do emergency tie jobs, but I ended up losing 2 medium colas and 1 small one. Could have been much worse if the skrog net wasn't there to stop them from snapping. Injuries look like bent plastic straws, so I'm going to be watching her closely to see if she herms from that massive amount of stress. Some of the pics have cat hair in them, thank the little brat. Anyway, Skunk is a 45-50 day finisher so I'm going another week and then she gets the chop. Lots of microscope videos today and finally found an amoeba. Also something moving in an egg...what is it? That's at 400x so I think it's a nematode egg based on what I found online. If you look closely at the super zoomed in trichome shot, you can see the reflections of other trichomes...just fucking epic.👏 All the food stops now, too much in the soil for her to start senescence. Nothing but water and FFJ now. New pistils are still coming in so who knows, maybe she'll keep going a few more weeks.

I came back after the vacation and opened the suitcase, I was very surprised that it grew too much :D I cut more leaves and bent some branches:) the girl started blooming!!!:).

Day 99: New Week We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

Mr Pipi loves seeing Frost. Starts to get shiny in the building. Smell was always like a fruity Whick Vaporub, but now the Menthol/Minty is not the most present and it gets more floral (kind of).

Great grow excellent quality. Probably gonna end up keeping #2 since she was an absolute best but won’t know until she’s cured

Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. Es geht den Pflänzchen weitgehend gut. Habe die Lampe inzwischen auf 75% Leistung wingestellt, da die gestretchten Headbuds alle zu verkümmert waren… leider etwas zu spät. Ich denke 2 von 5 Pflanzen werden nur ein Bruchteil ihren Potenzials ausschöpfen. Aber die anderen umso mehr vorallem der vorne rechts der Wachstumsprobleme hatte, hat durch die Distanz zur Lampe sehr profitiert. Da sind teilweise wirklich heftige Harzkeulen dabei unter anderem einfach Fan Leafs die komplett gezuckert sind. Auch die Farbe des Zuckers is teilweise lila geworden. Ich hoffe noch auf ein bisschen farbliche Variation aber evtl macht mir da der Sommer mit seinen Temperaturen ein Strich durch die Rechnung. Ich werde vermutlich nur noch 1 mal Düngen da ich teilweise Anzeichen von leichtem Nährstoffbrand habe und dann flush ich die kleinen. Aber abgesehn von meinem Fehler mit dem Hitze und Energiestress durch die Lampe. Auch hier scheinbar echt nen bomben Genetik. Aber endgültige Meinung erst beim , trockenen Rauchtest.

Week 5 started July 24, 2022 Growth is still strong into week five, I see no pre flowering, I think that is because she started really slowly due to me getting used to this new light, etc. July 27, 2022 Smells like lime sherbet up in here. LST, light defoliation to get some light on the lower colas. Really watered in today for the first time soaking the media, she is stretching and I see maybe some hairs for pre-flower - hope not too too soon though, I'd like more height than nine inches before she fully stretched

A brown leaf revealed the moldy core of the bud. Based on this sign, I harvested most of the plant. otherwise the Plant did grow well and has some terps leaning to the sour, limone side. had to throw away about 8G modly stuff from main colar. Seems to be about 30-40g left without mold.
